I was playing around wth my new and improved template on the character builder at http://swgcb.yogn.net/swg-cb.php, and had some questions...it's gonna take me over 3x the fencing exp to make master fencer as it took CH exp to make Master CH?

1h Sword3,891,000 (69.30%)

Creature Handling1,190,000 (21.19%)

That's not counting the Combat exp that is also needed, and all 4 lines of the CH tree take the same exp...

Am I missing something here? 2hand swords also requires the same amount of exp as Fencer...I am not a power gamer or macro'er, so I think I'm looking at about...3 months or more to master Fencing...I'm not picking on CH's, since that is the one skill I will never drop as long as I play, I'm just thinking that the exp amounts are a liittle unbalanced as they are right now...scared the crap out of my b/f when I started hollering about the total fencing exp I would need lol...

ch exp is alot harder to gain than fencing exp for example when i ust to grind fencer/ch at the same time i was getting say 3.5k 1handed and 200-500 ch per mob.

Also since you get ....10% I think it is of the xp for one-handed for combat damage. This means that by the time you have the 3.4 million one-handed xp you'll have 340,000 combat xp. In reality you only have to get the 3 one-handed xp tiers and the fourth tier will be done. CHs have to do all 4 of their tiers individually, since they don't gain one kind of xp while getting the other.

Hello,

I earned about 1 million XPin about two days. (6 or so hours a day so ... 12 total) I think XP value is completely reasonable.

I also have a BH and I earned 150-250K of Pistol XP, 150-250K of Carbin XP and 30-40K of CH XP, 100-200K of LLC in about 6 hours or so. Now this one was hard with all that defence deficiencies. (Hehe BH's are complaining about how they are so "unloved." Can you believe!?)

I can't explain to you how I did it in details ... I simply when on hunting on Lok or Dantooine. You just have to go there yourself and find a way to survive and make living. Then before you know it, you are doing well at whatever you were trying to do. Hint: I exploited my mobs' vulnerabilities and smack them hard.

Margoth, why are you hurting?

sorry, that was uncalled for. yes, the xp is a high number, but i've dabbled in both. and CH is pretty tough to level in. except for the fact that it's just as easy as Fencer. fencer requires more points, and you have to actually do things. with CH you just give commands (well, now you're in more danger with the new patch and stuff). i'm not knocking either, but the balance seems fine to me. i'd prefer a long and hard road, and not make it any shorter. if anyone wants to claim we're powerful, not only will they clearly only be comparing fencers and chefs, but they'll also be discounting the hours of hard work we put in.

I'm a Fencer and Chef

Anyways, I get an average of 50-500 CH XP from fighting/teaching etc, and an average of 0.5k-3k from combat...so its natural for the total XP required to be unbalanced

Naw, the dev's dont really need to look at this, fencer xp gains quite well done correctly.

The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.
