Hi folks.

I've been lurking here for about a month. I spent most of my career halfway through the Pistoleer tree while I worked up my medic and Bioengineering skills. I found pistols boring and melee types always seemed to be having alot of fun so I set out looking for a new profession. My decision was made solely by looking at the skill trees in-game and realizing that the defensive bonuses would help trmendouslyto keep me alive whenI inevitably offend various high level creatures as I jab them with a needle for samples. Combat damage was a second consideration for me.

After settling on Fencer for survibablity reasons, and that based on my limited knowledge of the game,I decided to check out the class forums. Ye gods! What a difference from the Bioengineer forums, hehe. Here is a profession that looks like it's had some recent loving. It has that warm satisfied glow The Fencer corespondent is dynamite, and the community seems top-notch. I think the Fencer secret is getting out and I wish I had started sooner, my friends don't believe me that I'm not really trying to jump on the bandwagon. Several people I know have received Fencer hints from Holocrons and they unanimously love it, so I am looking forward to it. (i myself have never touched one of the icky things) In a way it's sad to see a small, elite andand somewhat afflicted profession invaded by hordes of Holocron hunters, but it happened to BE too, and I imagine it's happenign everywhere.

I'll probably have lots of stupid questions and when possible I will try to find the answers in previous posts. Any Fencers on Flurry feel free to send me a greeting, and I'll give a fencer discount onFear Release and Tensile Releasetissues Also like to know who i can hit up for training.

Welcome to Fencer! I'm on the Flurry Server, and can train you - just give a yell. I also have a list of other Fencers willing to help with training, although, now, with the **edit** holo craze, finding training isnt the gargantuan task that it used to be. : )

Welcome. it's nice to see another potentially permanent settler here with us.

i look forward to your stupid questions. they might make mine look more normal, you know? ok, maybe nothing will do that. but i can dream.

we'll soon have an FAQ, though. so you'll avoid the embarrassment most of us had to endure when we were first starting out. but hopefully we'll still be able to help you interactively on the more complicated issues.

and the warm satisfied glow is because we're all pregnant. with uber-babies. the father was a nerfsoldier. that doesn't make sense, but i thought i would use it anyway. you'll have to make it funny on your own. good luck.
