A little forward...

My first 2 holos told me fencer/brawler. I almost puked when the fencer message appeared. I got master title on the day things changed. I also have enough doc to buff myself with Enhance Ds.

Last night, we were in the Jedi caves and a big group of rebs came strolling in. Just seeing rebs puts red in my eye, let alone these guys started trash talking the only girl we had in the group. A real duelist couldn't put up with this...let alone one with my temper. I chose the Commando with the pet and called him out.

Of course he accepted the Blademaster's duel...

I opened with lunge/dizzy and had him laying. I destroyed his Llama or whatever it was. I proceeded to fill my queue with Melee3 and Health2. He was almost deadwithin 4 seconds when his group started healing him. He got up and I hit him with the bleed and downed a moun. Then I hit the CoB and started pouring it on. I got caught in the AE radius of the fire cone so had a good fire on me but the buffs were outdoing it.

I proceeded to dish out, this is no lie...I added it up, 33,000 PvP damage. He never hit me once...other that the AE (which hits everyone in front of him). That's 0, never touched me, for like a minute and a half...no damage by the commado. His group finally ran out of mind and I finished him off. Did the DB and sent him out for a 7k walk. (What made this really cool is our guild has voice chat and the amount of "what the **edit**" and "holy **edit**" and "how the **edit** are you doing that" just kept coming through the speakers.)

I just wanted to share this with you all because everyday I play this class, I shock myself in someway. Wheather it is tanking 10 FS mobs, dropping 5 rebels at once, or hitting NPCs for 8000. It truely brings a tear to my eye. To top it all off, we're very rare.

the key is strategy. we can't quite outdamage any class unless we play our cards right. you got a good hand and knew what to play and when. excellent work. especially since he had outside help, that's pretty amazing.

Well done I am also working on fencer hehe currently I am 0103 (but when i get on tonight I am going to train to whatever helps me dodge lol got a lot of exp from tuskens last night)

To tell you the truth, the only reason I have fencer skill is to finish my 3rd holo's hint. I use a stun baton for the speed and it simply rocks. I am also a master ch so for the first few skill boxes my pets are the tanks. I have enough medic to use very high quality stim C's which I can heal for 500-1k dmg with (all i really need). I just lay down the tuskens and just beat 'em senseless with my stun baton. (stun baton has like a 1.8sec delay)

Anyway, I did figure this class would suck, and well it sorta does at the beginning stages where I am at...but I see it getting much better.

I'm on the bandwagon as well. But it seems I'm just jumping from one flavor of the month to the next. Of course I've been TKA since we where getting killed by nunas.

The fencer profession seems to be greatly improving. But with the new found power... come the power gamers. Beware guys, its not just the hologrinders anymore.

A question about lunge and dizzy. Lunge seems to knock the creature to a kneeling posture. For dizzy to work, does the creature need to be prone? Or does the same affect work with the kneeling posture?

Dizzy/KD doesn't appear to work well on creatures type mobs at all. However, it does wonders against humanoids. If the mob is already prone or kneeling, just dizzy and move on to the next one. Most of the time, when the mob stands up to run away to a more ideal distance as you walk away, he'll fall over and never get back up (FYI - this is fixed on TC).
