Fencer Archive
Thread: This maybe old but...
Hold the phone... after everything Fencers have gone through to get to where we finally are... and with what Pistoleers have been able to accomplish since day one... you want to come to this forum and claim Pistoleers are a *BROKEN* class???
I agree Pistoleers have issues. I could create a State of the Profession for Fencers that would make you weep if I wanted to. We just have a bit of pride.
I try to always support your correspondent when he brings your issues to the developers. Please don't come here and put our issues down, regardless of how big or little you may find them. (And no... this minor graphics "issue" isn't among our biggest concerns. Just an annoyance we wouldn't mind having cleared up.)
Sorry to get defensive.

I dont mean to bash other people, but fencers have a working class for the most part. Take a look at the pistoleer state of the profession report. After they fix the broke classes then lets worry about better graphics and animations
I believe the devs assigned for designing the item graphics are different from those assigned for char skills so my statement has got nothing to do with your pistol problems(hey, I'm working on pistol lines too).
On a lighter note...
There are new trails for melee weapons. Instead of a red "flag", all melee users (except truly unarmed players) now have trails that are just a blurred texture of the edge of their weapon following (or something of the sort... if you wanna get technical, check it out for yourself.) I'm personally looking forward to dropping the bright red marker of "I'm melee, kill me now!"

LMAO.
Hey I personally don't mind the "kill me now" flags.
That sounds terrible! That really happens to you? I'd be happy to try and help get the issue fixed for Pistoleers. Wow... I'd hate for that be one of the Fencer issues!

...but if you want to talk graphics how about the fact that when a pistoleer dodges he has to stop running...
i never said it wasnt a fencer issue but the point still stands that as a game there are more important things then cool looking weapons
Someone else said it before. There are different devs in charge of Art and Programming. This could be a win-win argument!

... I say once again, the devs that are doing the graphic designing aren't the same as the one tweaking the skills...
