Thread: Dodge does not really dodge?
Because he used a flame cone, hits everything in front of him, dodge or no dodge.
such is the nature of AoE attacks
So, it seems that dots/bleeds not only ignore armor and resists, but they also ignore any dodge/blocks/counterattacks.
Currently for some reason, even if you successfully Dodge/Counterattack/Block, you will still beaffected by any DoT(Damage over Time, i.e. Bleeds and Fire) effects.
Examples:
1. Commando uses Flame Single on you, but misses. You take no damage, and no effect is applied.
2. Commando uses Flame Single on you, but you block/counterattack/evade it. You take no initial damage, however you still are set on fire. Why? I don't know... It's my opinion that it's bugged.
3. Commando uses Flame Single on you and hits. You take any initial damage the attack has, as well as you are set on fire.
If it's a bleed attack or an attack that has no immediate damage, then any block/counterattack/dodge is exactly the same as being hit.
