Hmm tough call... I say group and do hurtons on Dant... like say yourself and a medic and another lower Melee.
Just kill thousands of hurtons...
Kill those puppies... slaughter them like the dogs they are.... errr... you get the idea...
Other thought is to get yourself a set of Doctor buffs grab a medic friend who needs the xp and head out to the Tusken Fort and clear it a couple dozen-hundredtimes... do the basement then as you advance head up topside.
You should get between 1-4k per kill.

anyone know a weaponsmith shop that sells good fencing weapons... i have a curved sword and its pretty crapalicious...

That aint too bad for a curved sword.
Suggest find some master weaponsmiths selling 145Max Vibroblades (commonly the best you can find.) Get about 6 of them... more if you can... and get thems bad boys sliced up by a GOOD Master Smuggler.
Pray for that 34% Damage Slice.
If you geteverything under 30% Damage Throw them up for sale for 3k suck up the loss and pick up another set of 6.
Your Weaponsmith will love you.
I suggest finding one who will give large quantity discounts... You'll go thru a few sets of weapons getting up there... so perhaps work out a deal for...
6 Stun Bats, 6 VB's, 6 Gad Bats, 6 Curved Swords, two sets of this order over a couple weeks. Expect about 5k per weapon.... yah it's expensive but if you get a weaponsmith who really knows their stuff and likes doing it they will go to any length to produce the Absolut best one handed weapons for you.
In otherwords... scratch their back they will scratch yours...

Since Raph hasn't finished the strategy sections yet (What is up so far is excellent! Looking forward to the rest!)...I too am looking for advice of things to hunt...but Solo...I play at odd times, and have a hard time picking up a group to fight with 
Currently, I'm 1/1/0/1...and progressing very slowly...any tips would be greatly appreciated!

get FootWork 4 first, then go up the techniques tree, the food i listed above gets rid of HAM completely
footwork = speed, techniques = crazy dodging, use CoB, it is your friend.
