I soon found that it was resistant to all our damage types, which I'm not complaining about. I still wanted to give it a go, though, and did an endless series of Healthhit 1 and 2, intimidate, warcry, peace, pause 10. After almost 3 hours I had worn down 1/5 of her health on bleeds alone. I kept waiting for her armor to break so that I could do at least some damage other than with bleeds, but I did not have the patience to continue. Is it at 3/4 health? or 1/2 that it breaks? Anyways, it was fun all around, boring, but more fun then waiting for a shuttle.
I found it is entirely possible to solo a NS elder, it just takes many many hours and lots of armor decay.

It is kind of crazy that you can fight something that long and not do a lot of damage. It is equally crazy that you can fight something that strong for so long and not get eviscerated in the process. The whole system feels messed up right now, and why shouldn't it... we've had one leg over the proverbial fence for so long now in terms of the long awaited combat revamp.

In a perfect world such a fight would be resolved in less time, win or lose... and we wouldn't be able to simply walk (run) away when we finally got bored - or it was supper time.

By the way... do they have their force powers back now?

No they still aren't using force powers. That was supposed to be fixed this patch, but apparently has not happened yet.

And just to be clear, I did not end up killing it. I spent almost 3 hours chipping away at it, then left 3 hours is too long. dont try it. although protectors and stalkers etc are still killable by us fencers and they can still drop good stuff, so i would suggest killing them.

Lol they are using force powers now, i totally got force choked i gues it is by a singing mountain clan guardain.. it sucked.
