Thread: Do any of you use Vibro Blades?

I am quickly approaching master fencer, and was curious if anyone uses Vibro Blades.
As far as I can see, thy are the only weapon that we have that is armour peircing.
If you do use them, what are the stats on them and can you enhance them with an Acklay Bone, or Rancor Teeth...etc?

You use vibro motors to enchance them i think, like the ones used from either the NS queen or from Nym's thugs and droidekas.
I rarely use one myself, only in friendly duels with guild mates and only because it makes a realy cool sound when you hit people with it

yeah i noticed the ehancement that you could put in it...just wan't too sure what it would be. and they do indeed make cool sounds...more or less just curious if there are some with a good damage on them....it's hard to find high damage weapons period...i mean the ones i have are good...i just want better

NS vibro units or Nym Vibro Motors double as enhancers.
Vibroblade is THE coolest weapon in the game

If you had the credits to get a few made with very high min damage NS vibro motors, you would have an opportunity at a good slice, which could make a very nice vibroblade. You would have better odds at making a very high damage 0 AP acklay gaffi that would end up with better damage even with armor piercing accounted. I hope that someday they make the vibroblade a viable weapon, but currently it is a display piece. I have made several with Nym's motors and even with a moderately good slice, my acklay gaffi stick outdamages it in all cases, AP factored in. If you made a NS enhanced vibroblade and got an excellent slice, you could beat the average acklay gaffi stick, but still wouldn't be able to compare to many that are 500+ damage.

Its a situational weapon but its good to have one in your inventory. There are plenty of npc's that have light armor and are resistant to stun at some degree. The AP1 is nice to have at that point as the baton suddenly gets gimped against that. Usually there's some kinetic in there as well so the gaffi stick also takes the 50% armor penalty. I carry a 188 VB with me now for those situations and it works great.
Yes, just like vibro knucklers you can enhance your weapon by using looted Nym's motors. With those and a decent damage slice you can reach into the lower 200's.
