How long do you think he could last?

I'm not a master of either profession yet but I'm well on my way toward both. I think it's an awesome combo. Is it "uber" on the level of BH/CH? Nope, not even close. But if you like being able to travel practically anywhere and having some nice camps, traps and being able to brag that you have the cajones to face down a Rancor mano-a-mano then you might enjoy it.

Plus just wait! Rangers are getting some interesting improvements in a bit. In the mean time though, if you want a fun and comparatively easy rider class for fencer then pick up the Doctor boxes. There are lots of posts on this forum about the advantages of that combo.

If you choose the Ranger route though... Welcome to the fold my brutha!

Well i thought it was an odd combo myself but im a master ranger and was tired of using my carbines... I was a Carbineer.. gasp... Anyway the way i see it is that you or sort of like a wondering swordman. Well we'll see how it works out.

I'm an advanced scout/1-hand melee on my way to ranger/fencer. I've also got some pistol thrown in, so I won't be mastering more than one profession (probably ranger).

I like being able to whoop up on critters that close on me. It's fun. Actually, I like having both ranged and melee. Shoot first, make the critter hurt, then finish him off when he's dumb enough to close. Fun, fun.

I decided to go up to Master Ranger/Master Fencer awhile back...but then my internet was shut-off and I didn't play for a month. So I'm currently a novice fencer and 4244 scout. I just recently found these nifty message boards.

This actually looks like a nice combo, as you can get Master Ranger/Master Fencer and still have enough points left for Medic - which means you can use Stim B's for combat heals!

For Solo and group crowd control, get yourself a Cowardly Gurreck. Start combat with the gurreck, then start picking off the unsuspecting BAF aggro.

But the big question is: do the Fencer animation moves look cool? =)
