I'm a recent Master Fencer and loving it. But I have a question, hopefully someone can answer. I bought a bandolier with +7 One Hand Weopon Evasion. It sounded like a Fencer thing. I thought it was another name for Dodge, but apparently not. When I equip it, I see it show up in my skill mods in its own Evasion category. Can anyone tell me what this does, and is it a Fencer thing? Thanks.

it sounds to me like a mod that would help you dodge AWAY from INCOMING FENCER ATTACKS. So i don't think it'll help you unless your in PvP against a 1hander, but hey tuskens are 1hand, a lot of NS's are, Force Mystics on dant are....and so on

-Eparei Master...er well lots of stuff and by the time i change this again i'll have probably gone through another ten professions without mastering them, so anywho oh well

los of skills dont show up when you put attachments on, like 1 hand counter attack and stuff like that, but it clear too me that it works 100% killing 3 force hunters at 1 time is enough proof for me!

So Neo, are you saying the One Handed Weopon Evasion is like a Dodge thing, or to evade against One Handed attacks from others? Thanks.

I think it's another form of dodge.

Yep, they do work. I got plus 18 to One handed evasion. I ran a few tests, and it deffintley works. I also believe it helps you to evade Nightsister force attacks.

To my knowledge "one hand weapon evasion" like a few other stats were in beta but taken out when the game was released. It could well be that they do increase your ability to dodge or "evade", but there was a recent push to get stop "non-category skill mod" drops to stop, and replace them with normal category's like dodge.... which are obtainable outside of drops....
