Good day to you all, and thanks for reading, I am fairly new to fencer (about 3 weeks) and want to relate a story I experienced last night (not a dizzy/posture change story, although it is cool when those work).
I was 0/3/3/3 when the night began and the only thing I ever attacked were savage quenckers on Dantooine due to the low HAM vs exp they have. As I progressed, I got 0/4/3/4 and ran across a wild piket spawn (9k HAM) near the Pirate outpost. I thought well, my buffs are gone in about 20 minutes and my moun will be gone in 6 let me pop some. Keep in mind I have no armor on. I hit the lair to get a good spawn out (about 9), I then center of being and start attacking one, before I know it all 9 (and more are spawning) start attacking me. I switch from body hit to spin attack, with in 5 minutes I leveled all of them (I harvested meat from about 25 pikets) and got about 75 to 100k exp. I must say, it was the most thrilling experience in SWG to date. This profession absolutley rocks. I never was hit, probably from the CoB and the melee defense (I am also a master pistoleer). My only wish is that all the combat professions were as functional as this. Cheers, and best hutning to you all, I no longer will limit myself to savage quenckers, a whole new dangerous world just opened up to me.

I agree i liked fencer a lot, im doing swordsman now, and its good too.
The AOE attacks really leveled me a ton on Pikets for fencer, spin 2 got me a couple mil xp im sure.

Now I wish I had used area attacks when I mastered fencer. I am only 3-0-4-0 now because I mastered chef, but being master fencer was great. I am not a fan of melee in PvP though, so I didn't enjoy it much.
