Been looking through here but can't find them. So, here are some questions I have on CoB.

1. What defences does it increase? Is it just block/dodge/counter, or does it also increase your "defence vs xxx" skills? Wondering if it boosts your ability to resist dizzies, blinds, and KD's.

2. If you have one handed CoB, can you use it with another weapon equipped (say a VK)? This questions is two fold: a) can you activate CoB without a 1h weapons and b) do the defenceswork without a 1h weapon

3. How does the CoB Duration translate into real time? Is each point equal to a second?

It increases your Dodge, Block, Counterattack. Depends on what weapon your using.

Each Melee profession gets its own COB function. Whatever profession you've really Mastered, should give you more effective COB results.

3. How does the CoB Duration translate into real time? Is each point equal to a second?

Center of Being duration, the mod is called i think. And yes each point translates into a second. Hope i've helped.

I have a follow up question- i hit COB while using a Fencer weapon, lay my state effects, and switch to my meat grinder (aka sythe)- if i try to reapply COB, it tells me i am already focusing on using that weapon. But, according to what you just said, i am only recieving a bonus to dodge at the time and not to counterattack...

I need to test this out as it could be a major issue for those of us who are Sword Masters... Anyone have any experience/knowledge of whether my COB defenses are being used when i switch to a 2hand sword?

So, for your answer to number 1 you are saying that CoB has no effect on your ability to resist dizzy, KD, stun, blind, or add to melee/ranged defence?

Also, your answer to number 2 did not address the question. I was asking if it was possible to activite 1h CoB with another weapon equipped. If so (or even if not) do the defencive bonuses work if you have a different weapon?

For instance, if I am a master fencer and master rifleman can i use 1h CoB while using a rifle? Can i activate it while using a 1h weapon then switch to rifle and still get the bonuses?

Hope you can answer these questions, and thanks for the answers you did provide

Just adds to your dodge, counterattack and block.

Its currently bugged like that, which yes does make it possilby equip one hand weapon, COB, go to rifle. And you get the fencer defense bonuses.

One last question which you've given me.

Does CoB increase ALL of the defences or just the one that it corelates to (1h CoB = dodge, 2h CoB = counter, etc)? I'm wondering because if it increases ALL of the defences then hitting the CoB and switching to rifle will increase your block ability dramatically.

Just the one that it corelates to (1h CoB = dodge, 2h CoB = counter, etc) is your answer.
