What's happening to us over hte next couple patches? Same as subject, only spelled poorer =)

Anyone know?

I heard something about One Hand Spin Attack 2 being changed to an AE posture change ... boy wouldn't that be nice ...

or Lunge 2 being moved into the Fencer tree isntead of the brawler tree ...

Perhaps making bleeds a worthwhile attack again ...

Anyone know anything?

Most people who respond are prolly gonna **edit** about the "nerf" to Warcry that is coming in Publish 7. There have been a few rumors about a KD, a new Posture Change, but I haven't heard anything about fixing bleeds, apparentlybleeds will actually do damage to targets now (the damage it says in the Combat Log actually happens to the creature, instead of just translating into Bleed Damage).

Now on the Warcry "nerf", anyone who wants to look at the bright side, Warcry is now an excellent reason to slow down PvP encounters, delay someone and use it to yer advantage instead of charging in and Dizzy/KDing someone. Find a nice vantage point from where your enemy needs to get close to use a gun on you, heal up, and try to find any possible escape routes if the battle doesn't go your way.

Fencer would definately be the best pound-for-pound single combat profession (I consider it as being one of the best professions in PvP and PvE because ofCenter of Being andStun Damage)if a KD was added, because of the defenses andStun baton. So in order to prevent a nerf, I say that we should stay as is in terms of Knockdowns. You want one? Go ahead and spend the extra points from Master Brawler.

/agree

A fencer who knows the tricks of the trade can do very well in both PVE and PVP...I am kind of curious how the profession revamp will affect us in the future....A reduction in speed to 0.5 would be nice but a rodian can only dream

LOL, so would I! The bad side, though? Our lil profession would suddenly become FOTM and possibly get watered down.

I am crossing my fingers with the combat balance coming this spring/summer. .5 speed would be a much needed alteration to our profession. As it is our best weapons sliced cost alot of credits. Yet they have the same dmg output of ranged attack unsliced rifles. Give us .5 speed and the proposed 3 sec cap on rifles looks that much better.

We will not get 0.5 speed (the 1sec cap is in place for a reason, lag maybe?).They will probably change the dmg of weapons and if they change speeds, it will be to make other professiosns slower. Probably will end up being fencers/pistoleer/TKA 1, Carbineers/poleram 2, Rifleman/swordsman 3. But in the end, I'll bet all professions will have a simialar dps.

For the actual changes announced that will take place, read the notes on the test center. Other than Warcry changes, I serioulsy doubt anything will significantly affected us (even the defense cap). As for the Warcry change, don't see that really changing anything, I never use it anymore anyway. But it should allow great opportunites to actually get out of a fight if need be (especially in a mob situation).
