Thread: Fencer/.......?

I used to be master tk kept getting owned in pvp basically because of my mind cause i'm master doc and can heal the rest. so i wanted to drop doc and tk and pick up fencer for some odd reason. any body know what is a good ranged weapon to go with fencer? i was thinking about commando. but not sure would like to hear any thought or comments plz THX

Do you like being kited? If so commando gives you a reanged profession along with fencer to where you can be kited no matter wich weapon you use.


Ill just say rifleman seems to be most popular as you dont get far in pistoleer after master fencer befor hitting the dodge cap but I still think that is a nice compliment to fencing, but then you are short in ranged defense.


Me? I guess I might be going fora cookie cutter but Its not for what it appears but rather Im tired of slow weapons and just want to be fast so Im going Master Fencer, Master pistoleer, Smugler Dirty fighting 3, TKA 4-0-0-4(may as well get ranged up to the cap as well since im beyond in melee this way and dodge cap) I have tryed all those professions befor just not at the same time and liked them so just going for the template now. Defenses just happened to be there not to mention around 100 to dizzy, postured down and KD which is high for status defense and being KD'ed can decide a fight quickly, and meditate to heal wounds and self buff.


Even if it doesnt work as well as it used to, all are skills Ive had befor and enjoyed so I'll be happy either way. Doing what you have fun doing is whats most important.

At this point in the game, I would suggest keeping Doc 4440 with Master Fencer. Being able to cure poison/disease and put out fires on yourself is critical.

Ummmmm thats just silly master fencer, doc 4 4 4 0, an tka 0 0 0 4.. Why not boost your mind up to the max, an take power boost, an force of will, yes you will loose alot of defence but to be honest the base fencer defences with out adding on the tka defences is more then enough to deal with all but riflemen, with the added 550 hp, action an mind its very very useful to get 4000 mind pool or higher depending on your race. Just my IMO.

Check my profs in my sig...

Although i'm without adequate stun and a few other def vs.'s, both my ranged and melee def's are maxed, as well as having relatively decent ranged attacks with carbineer (AoE KD, dizzy, stun, posture down) and meditation's powerboost, and fencer's speed and attacks. I have yet to try myself in PvP (no joke!), i beleive I could hold my own with a double brandy, powerboost, and buffs.

But, i will find out soon enough.

I made very little sense of what you said, for one you cannot be tka 0/0/0/4 with master fencer and doc 4/4/4/0... 0/0/0/3 is max. I am going doc in plans to not be solo, but a group asset in pvp. I lead a small guild, and I plan to be a healer that can take plenty of hits, and dish out hell when needed.

master fencer/1040 pistoleer/4304 tka/3240 medic PVP TANK, ranged mitgation2, KD defense 120, lunge defense 110, dizzydefense 90, all other status defense 60+, self buff and whatnot from tka, 125 dodge (cap), 150 melee (Caps at 125) 125 ranged, with good comp armor i could really annoy some people
