I'm in a bit of a sticky wicket here. I've been using my Junti Mace, dmg sliced and damage PUPed for the past couple of weeks because I got tired of seeing myself stab my own head with the blade of nyenthi'oris, and then continue to punch and kick enemies instead of beating them down with a sword. The difference between the DPS on my Nyenthi'Oris and Junti Mace is about 15 or so, and the min damage on the blade is 7 higher then the mace, while the max is about 12 higher. Ultimately, I don't see a lot of difference between the two in combat, sometimes the mace hits harder and sometimes the nyenthi'oris takes the cake, but I often get a strange feeling that I'm being shafted out of some damage when I use the mace. I think its probably all mental, but none-the-less I think I need some reassurance. I want to continue using my Junti Mace, but its getting to that point where I'm going to need to ADK it. The problem is, I only have four ADKs, three for my main pieces of armor, and one for my weapon. Currently the ADK is on my Blade of Nyenthi'Oris.

ADKs are running at 12 mil currently on my server and I can't see myself investing in another one, even if I did have the money. My choice now is, destroy my Blade of Nyenthi'Oris and use the ADK on my lovely fixed-animation Junti Mace, or just Switch back to the blade of Nyenthi'oris when it comes time to retire my mace.

I just have a few questions for everybody to help me in my choice:
Do you think we're likely to see a fix in the nyenthi'oris animations in the next couple weeks?
Is the Junti Mace's damage actually considerably worse than the nyenthi'oris' in the long run?
Is it worth destroying my Nyenthi'oris, which I can replace for roughly 1mil with the current slicing prices, for my Mace, which when destroyed costs much more because of the price diff on my server?
If you have been using a Junti Mace, do you find yourself just as successful in battle as you did with a Nyenthi'Oris? I could swear I'm not doing as well, but I may be paranoid.

I use both the mace and the blade. To be honest I don't notice the difference but I use the mace more simply because it has the correct animation and people go "wow wth is that?"

baton has SAC pup

Mace has damage slice and SAC pup

Blade has damage slice and Dam pup on it.

I like using the baton and mace far more than the blade and all 3 have their differenct strengths. But it's all about style which is Baton = Mace > Blade (currently)
