Thread: Question regarding skill caps and what not.

I've heard that skill caps are at 125 for defenses. I'm curious.. is this the maxa defense can be from skills alone?
Question is because I have a +25 Dodge armor attachment.. but I already have a Dodge score of 130.. if I have this installed.. will I be at:
150 Dodge (+25 attachment + 130 Dodge [effectively capped at 125])
OR
125 Dodge (Hard cap of 125 no matter what attachments you have)
This is very important, spent a lot of money on the +25 dodge attachment. Also need to know if skill cap applies to food as well, or does that let us go above 125?

You're already capped with fencer, and pistols I'm guessing.
Sell it or drop some of your dodge line.
The only thing that will give you more dodge than 125 is food.

I have always heard that skill tapes/armor attachments/special weapon mods/and food ALL move your stats beyond the 125 cap for both dodge and ranged/melee defense. The only thing that hard caps you at 125 is what you earn by stacking professions. Can anyone confirm this?

125 is asoft cap. You can go over the 125 with foodor attachments. The most you can go is +25 over the cap. Keep the skill mod you have.
