Thread: A Force Sensitive Fencer.

I had 4 free branches when pub 10 hit and i got into the village. Now knowing that fencer is already very fast and accurate there were only 2 branches i found that would even help us. Force Sensitive Melee Defense and Ranged Defense.

Speed won't help us as we already hit the cap, Accuraccy i could see being semi-usefull but not too much in my opinion as we already hit alot.

Alot of people were talking about Force Sensitive Fencers running around and I honestly don't think that will be the case. With the Melee Speed and Accuraccy we will likely see more Force Sensitive Pikeman and Swordsman running around.

In some ways i'm glad that fencer didn't get affected much by this force sensitive stuff but in another way i'm kinda sad that now pikeman and swordsman will be at or near their speed cap which was the one thing we could brag about.

Just some thoughts.

Yes, I've made the unbelievable mistake of opening the wrong slot for my character...that Melee speed and accuracy/ Ranged speed/Accuracy.


After I did it I realized "Wait a minute, i'm already as fast as i'm going to get."I only hope that the Combat Revamp

I am FS and have melee acc. and melee defense trees that I got from grinding. I am currently working on the ranged acc. tree because its the only combat one available in this cycle. I still need to do all of fencer before going back to the fs exp thing. I think the defense and acc. will be great for fence. lol

what i was wondering i know we pretty much hit the speed cap with master fencer but i was wondering. the force increases melee speed know does this go torwards the fencer spped cap or does it just make u quicker. so for example lets say ive completly caped speed if i take up melee speed will his make a diffrence ?

*giggle* I got Ranged Defense. Capped now on Melee and Ranged both.

had 2 fs trees. opened melee spd (but am m fencer and m swords) and melee def.


the spd is mainly for the swordsman as i find fencer extrmely fast as it is.

The melee speed helps with the saber!!!!!!


Yes fencer is a great stand alone profession, and the FS skills are meant to augment your current character, but some skills remain useful after you are a padawan, and trust me, you want all teh speed you can get for those sabers, as they can be slow. Also,we have no idea how the speed will affect us in the future, nor do we know what any new weapons will cost in speed. In my opinion for any serious PvE, PvP person, ranged defense, accuracy, speed (which apperas bugged now) and melee defense, accuracy, speed are the best to take. If you are a crafter, then the crafting are better, etc. Always think about flexibility adn teh future when selecting these skills.

Yeah I came to this same conclusion. I'm just leary of using My Combat and One hand XP on something that isn't concrete, i.e. the Combat Rebalance. I know its been said that the Rebalance will be a major overhaul, but I need more information.
