Where do I get one of these? Are they craftable by weaponsmiths, or can you only get one by killing Tuskans?

Weaponsmiths make them. But you rarely find any who bother, even though they were improved with the latest patch, my sliced gaffidoes 113-230 dmg at 3.3 spd ---- dont know the ham off hand. Go see Koryn on Naboo and see if he'll make you one. Tell him i sent ya

Gaffi sticks seem to be the best PvE weapons to my knowledge. I recently switched to these (thx to the aforementioned people). I strongly recommend u get one of these to test it out if you are near master footwork for fencer. As of now, im still testing which one does the most DPS between curved, rykks, and gaffi sticks... and which weapons are best suited for PvE. PvP i havent done testing on yet, but so far gaffi sticks have the lead especially if you can get the health cost cut down with a powerup.

The main reason i love the gaffi stick so much is due to the high min dmg. I think youll enjoy it once u start using it.

intresting will have to see what my local smith can make. While my butter knife does very well i wouldnt mind have a little more dps for unarmored creatures if the ham aint too much of an increase. Vibroblades spoiledd me on ham.

Since speed modifiers are currently percentage based, the gaffi stick should be an extremely good weapon for non-styled tanking.

It has high damage, and the speed will get dropped to (or near) cap with high footwork skill. Just don't plan on doing any specials with the HAM penalties these things pack.

Yeah I pull out the gaffi now to dispatch higher ham mobs and especially creature lairs. You cant go wrong owning a gaffi, its as close as we get to heavy swordsman damage stats.

Oh, speaking of trainer Im probably going to hit master footwork today, so I'll find you in game when your on.

A few nights ago, a fellow fencer gave me a gaffi stick while I was standing in Coronet starport.

It has an attack power of 127-217, speed 2.7 I cant remember the exact HAM cost for the stick but it was around 60 Health, 40 action and 20 mind. He also told me that the weapon was badly sliced (but I was not informed if the speed or the attack power was the one that was sliced).

I love this gaffi stick because of its low Mind cost.

the HAM on them is only bad if you solo. If you have a healer with you the mind part is low enough to style as much as you want. HAM on mine is 60/36/18 damage is 171-289 3.4 Damage slice of course. Until the combat changes come they are by far the best fencer weapon against non armored mobs if you are near master speed

to compensate for the health cost, simply put a max dmg/health reduction powerup in it. The fact that the mind cost is so low just adds to the plus's that the gaffi stick has. As of now there isnt a better 1h weapon for PvE.
