Thread: Fencer armor equip macro?
/ui action toolbarPane05;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
...etc...
/ui action toolbarPane00;
the last one sets you back to your main toolbar.
remember they are case-sensitive and numerate from 0.
Explanation:
each set of 24 boxes in the visible toolbar is numbered 0-23
each set of 2 toolbars has a cooresponding Pane numbered 0-something
So with that being said, I keep my armor in the 4th toolbarPane (I hit Shift-F4 to get to) in the first 4 slots. here's is the macro.
/ui action toolbarPane03;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/pause 1.5;
/ui action toolbarPane00;
Pardon any spelling errors I made. This should take you to Pane 4, equip slots 1-4, pause for server lag, and then return your view to the Pane 1.
Enjoy!
i've never had any problem with server latency. so i've never used a pause in there, because when i'm in the middle of a battle, i need armor on or off instantly. i will tell you this: the ui sound effect grows the more you have at once. so putting on a whole suit might startle you the first few times. you can turn the ui sounds off, though.
and you will see your character flicker, but even if there's a delay in the graphic, i've taken damage and had it stopped by my armor even when it isn't visible.
you can also bind this macro to the insert key and modify it to toggle your clothing, too. that way hitting insert toggles between armor and clothing. then you can switch instantly in battle.

Is there a way to setup a macro to put armor on or take armor off without putting the armor in the toolbars? I have mine setup as suggested but what I am finding is that I have 2 different armor styles and i'm eating up toolbar space. I have toolabars for a lot of different things and maybe i just need to re-work my key bindings but it would be nice to have 10 different pieces of armorbound tothe keys "q,w,e,r,t,y,u,i,o,p" if you catch my drift. 24 slots seems like a lot until you setup a different profession on each bar...
I admit that some of the toolbar slots I have setup are stupid, so it's just a matter of going through and making them work better. I also just started key binding commands i previously placed on the toolbars so there really is more space around than I am making it seem. I have whole slew of keys just for surveying and crafting leftover from my weaponsmith dreaming days. Now I just pop a wind generator where there's a bunch of others instead of doing the surveys, works about 50% of the time...I just find that I am carrying too much junk around with me and i travel too far from my house (why did i bother with one anyway?).
