Not knowing anything about slicing except that when I got it done, my Ryyk was a little faster... Are there any negative side-effects to having your blade sliced? I'm thinking maybe the decay rate going up or something... does anybody know?

The decay rate does not go up. I have been playing at least a few hours a night for over a week with the same sliced weapon and its durability has only dropped about 120 points. I think the only reason people think that there weapon is decaying faster is because of increased attack speed, or because before slicing became big, many people posted their theory that it made it decay faster.

Decay rate is faster... Just buy a couple of em and have them all sliced.

Also, they can't ever be sliced again.

I heard rumors that your not supposed to be able to repair sliced weapons at all.. but I don't think that's true... we'll see I guess.

from what I understand, sliced weps are not supposed to be able to be repaired (currently broken). Im not sure if they decay faster or not.

Supposily there's a higher rate for the item to go *boom* when one tries to repair it, I haven't had that happen to my carbine though, but the overall condition of the weapon would seriously drop if I was "successful" in repairing it (like from 1k to 680)
