I have a Rykk blade 63 - 178 2.1 attack speed(sliced) with 40%wound chance. I was looking at the star guide and was wondering about the Rantok sword not much has been said about it is according to the strat guide better than a Rykk blade. Just looking for any opinoins on this.

I got a Rantok Sword (did all the Jabba missions, the only way you can get one so i understand) and i got it has 50-150 dmg and about 3.1 stock stats. I got mine sliced down to 2.1 speed. Im pretty pleased with it and it looks relly cool, but your weapon seems to be better and its a lot of work to get a Rantok. Hope that helps.

Yeah.. the Rantoks I've seen have been pretty weak in comparison to some Ryyk's and curved swords. However, the range is good. But I have yet to figure out what range exactly does and means. If it means you hit more, then heck, it might actually mean more damage over time... The ryyks I've used have negative range effects...

I have a Rantok Sword and I got it sliced from 50-150 to 67-196. Attack speed 3.1. If anyone wants to buy it I will sell it for 100k.... Enjoy. Probably the best Rantok anyone will ever see.

WHAT are you on CRACK 100k for that junky thing? My sword I payed 5,200 for- base damage was 70-166 speed of 2.7 I sliced it to 89-212 (this is Ryyk blade BTW) I have another that was 72-166 sliced down to 2.0 speed I can make weapon buffs to drop that down to 1.3 speed.

Bleh I can't find someone who makes good one handed swords on Bria!!

My local weaponsmith makes ... 20-130 3.0 vibroblades

The infamous Origins makes only 30-130 2.6 vibroblades!

Argh I wish they'd stop working on Rifles and work on Melee!

ktzero those are good one handed weapons. Consider this that no vibroblade uses an advanced component due to a bug. All high stat swords are using advanced sword cores. Vibrobladeshave armor piercing 1 which means 25% extra damage on armor 0 enemy. Also they dont suffer as badly to armor as ryyk or rantok due to their armor piercing.Their ham coast are close to a fourth of a ryyk. If those are stock vibros i would kill to have one of the 2.6 speed ones sliced for speed on corbantis. Dont just look a the dps of a weapon to decide whether it is a good weapon or not. There is alot more to consider.
