Path of the On Hand: Okay well since there are some new On Hand/ Wannabe Fencers out on Scylla I have run into, most which wanna be Jedi and think Fencer is at least the closest thing to it, I am gonna make a small XP grabbing guide for you Fencer Noobs to follow. If you are a new Fencer on Scylla and need a great place to start out I would suggest Rori. I started on Rori and there are a ton of small easy cretures that give out a lot of xp and are easy to kill. Not to mention the people are very friendly and will generally help you out with missions and what not since there are few peopel there anyways.

Goin down this path is gonna be hard till you hit Expert One Hand. You will need a good supplamental skill. I would suggest picking up scouting. Not only can you kill but you can harvest the creatures and sell the hides for money. This paid my way through Fencer school! Not only that, but it will help you on your way to the ultimate Fencer combo... Fencer/CH. With this combo I have taken down 10khp by myself. Good luck!

Novice Fencer: So you made it! Still here...? Okay so now that you are a Fencer you need some massive XP to fill up your massive abilities. Starting XP cost os like 125,000xp per stat! **edit** gonna take you forever if you are still reading this! Anyways.. Time to find a more heavy XP planet. I went to Tatooine. Great for Novice Fencers starting out. Lots of semi-easy creatures with huge 100-200xp per creature grab. Here's how I breezed through and got a lot of xp.

If you have Melee1spin1 now is the time to start using it. Just start going around to mounds where a lot of little Kreetles or whatever come after you. Your spin move will kill 5 little bugs at a time. I was getting almost 500-700xp for taking on a mound a kreetle. This is the best way. By themsleves the XP is no good, but in a swarm you are gonna get some good XP. WHen you get your skills up then you can move onto bigger and better killings. You gotta do it the hard way though cause the Tusken camps aren't there for easy Fencer XP no more!

Moving passed the second rung: I wouldn't even worry about finess until you have gotten the first two rungs of regular skill and you should have at least the Intermidiate Finesse done. Now we move onto gaining the massive XP you want. This is also where CH gets you the easier stuff. Time to go out soloing on LOK. I know what you are thinking, LOK that place is crazy with the red creatures... well yeah you need the XP right? Now find yourself some Flits and some Perlek. Flits wont give you good XP unless you fight a Giant flits, but they swarm and you can use One hand spin 2 here or just kill the Giant Flit for 1k XP each. 1k XP? Wow that's a lot right? Yeah but you will die facing it alone without creatures cause it boasts 3000+hp. Now here's the kicker: Perlaks have 1400hp, but hand out 1000xp for each kill... Reason: Each one has 1400xp and they will swarm if you get too close. Good thing you will only be pulling them one at a time. 5 Perlek = 5kxp... now you are on a roll and 250 creatures later you will have your next levels...

Advice: Always carry two swords in case one is ruined by normal wear and tear. Always get your weapon sliced it can only make the best even better.

Most XP you can get: Killing a Tusken king will net you 5000xp if you get in there and do some damage, but you can't die. Better have a great group of people with you.

Please post anything I may have missed here as well. If you need a good one hand weapon and are a noob come out to my cantina in Mos Tatoo, Tatooine, Scylla Universe. Free of charge. Also I have Noob Starter packs as well.

Very nice guide indeed. That's pretty much how I got started as a 1h brawler, and now I just got my first skill in novice fencer last night (int. footwork, which seems to be the most effective). My suggestion: How about explaining what skills are most important first after you achieve novice fencer. Because these skills take so long to level up, a person can get stuck with a decision they make for a pretty long time. Just my .02. Keep up the great work, though!

good easy money and xp is hunting on Dantooine.

go to the imp outpost.

there are 2 yellow dot mobs that spawn near the camp 200m or so away.

grab missions for them and grab a probot, or soon a trained pet.

im not gonna say how much xp and money i earned in 15 mins of this though go check it out for yourself.

have ur probot attack the mobs u attack the lair when they are swarmed around him, 2-3 time they dont even aggro u, but when they do ur dead meat

Great quick guide. Here are some things I would add/change.

1. Start in Tyrenna, Corellia and fight Loons and lumpwads, you can build quick EXD with them and gain items from them too. Since Insurance isnt enabled, you can run out to them from the clone station, and they will swarm you once you get -5k thug faction. I was able to take out at least 20 before I finally fell to thier blows, rinse and repeat for lots of cash/xp/ and itmes. At 100xp per guy, this was a really quick way to master 1handeded.

2. Get a pet or probot to help out asap. I am not fighting on Lok, but Dathomir. My Lok experiances have been really bad, so I am statying away from there for now. FIghting Ginat Baz natches gets me 2000-3500xp. Besure to have your pet/probot attack first then move into a 4m range from the MoB, so you will not be constantly attacked.

3. Pick up Trapping Skills for your fencer. Using a trap such as a wire mesh or glow wire trap can help out with decreasing thier melee defense.

Lets keep adding good ideas to here!

Here's a small little guide to what skills to do:

I got my intermidiate skills first to round everything out. Then I worked on footwork cause it seemed the most beneficial. The only problem with this is that it changed the game into super hard mode. I for one enjoy it because the money is good and the XP you get from Bantha Mounds and Greater Desert WOmp Rat mounds is good.

Missions are almost all Level 50 or higher.

Fencer is designed however to be gone up in rank by doing Inter, Advance, expert, and master level by level, because each full bar will equel out your Finesse bar. Going in a column row will only mess things up in the balance of when you get your skills. If you want an even tree then just go in order.

If you don't I would say go with Foot Work, then Technique as these are the ones most used for battle. Then work on the other one later.

Eh, what the hell, I guess I'll add my experiences to this. (Cool guide, btw.)

There are alternatives to running off to Lok and killing higher level creatures for exp. Remember, Fencers are very, very dangerous at stomping humanoid mobs into the ground, so feel free to abuse that as often as you can. Ally yourself with either the Rebel or Imperial faction and start taking destroy missions. Remember to de-equip your weapon or something, though, 'cause at Novice Fencer + you start pulling double Stormtrooper missions, which can kinda suck if you're not paying attention or you don't have some help. You should be pulling level 5 missions that have you killing a single special missions engineer, Imperial Medic, Imperial Private, Imperial noncom, or Imperial trooper. They're easy, they only have about 2-3k HP, and only the Medic heals itself. They'll give you somewhere around 1kxp, not to mention the FP and the loot you get from killing them an doing the mission. Just remember to equip a rifle or something and fire at them a few times to get them prone, so you can rush in and have a chance of getting the double damage bonus. =X Nothing better than flattening a medic in two shots of 2k damage a pop...

Anyway, I was doing that to move myself up through the first tier of Fencer while getting myself a couple senior SpecForce soldiers and a couple pieces of Marine Armor. Overall, I'm satisfied. ;X

Trythis with the two sword deal...carry a regular heavy hitter sword (88-183, 2.5spd, curved sword)for soloing and the faster sword for group xping. From my experience, when I solo I want to kill fast and get my missions complete and head home however when in a group trying to xp on usually high con mobsI want to get as much damage in as possible to maximize xp...with a lighter blade (73-161,2.0spd, curved sword) I can get more special attacks, or regular swings, during a prolonged fight, anyways this usually gets me a good chunk of xp - I've tried this a few times now to see if there's a difference and so far the faster blade yields more in a group situation where there's a pretty prolonged fight involved.

cheers

I joined Imperial and got a commando and medic trooper, and go and do imperial missions, i get fairly easy exp,

i dunno this might be wrong, but it seems when in a group, if i slap on dizzy, blind, intimidate, and maybe bleed, my exp is increased SIGNIFICANTLY, i may be wrong.....

It's not so much the fact that you slap on status changes, it's that exp is dramatically increased when you're in a group. Keep anything you can grouped, from pets to henchmen, and you'll see like 15% increases in your exp. =X

This is a little off topic. However, where do I pick up Imperial faction pets? Haven't found a place yet.And I got plenty of faction.... didn't they say that they were lowering faction costs?
