Thread: The Art of Dabbling (A question for Raphael)
The forums are rampant with bit** ching about the pistoleer/fencer combo, and I've read that they may change the dodge to be profession.
Personally I hope that they don't do this--- finding the right combat 'combo' to accomplish your combat goals, is imo, whatthis game is about.
If they DO do this, will it be acroos the board skill specific? (ie defense against KD). If they DO make it across the board... I'll be ... well... pretty bummed. I'm a melee hybrid, and have found a very effective combination of melee skills. I really hope they don't mess with the melee defenses that are stacking now.

In reality the way Thunderheart is talking I think they have no possible care to bothering answering these complainers with a "Nerf" it's not exactly productive to revamp like that (profession specifying bonuses) after such a large revamp, and prior to the extensive combat reworks comeing up is unlikely.
More likely they will back burner dealing with that till they get thru the HAM cost Creature reballancing / Damage mitigation /
Then see if anyone really complains about this after all that.
I highly doubt they will bother by that point. And in reality it's not important enough to bother with.
Hell the method of unlocking the FS slot is far more disasterous to the enjoyment of the game than comeing across one of the 10 Pistoleer/Fencers.
I want to go fencer because it flows nice with pistoleer rather than TKA. Hell fencer is pretty much the pistoleer version of the brawler professions they should make each other stronger when you have both.
IMO Dodge should be sepated from Pistoleer. 105 + Dodge and Center Of Being&Blindis all a fencer needs, anything else is overkill.
