Thread: Thinking about doing the unthinkable!!!! Need some motivation.
Well, it has finally come to it.
TKA is over saturated and I hate being the flavor of the month. I have been a TKM for months now and love it cause I am a Martial Artist in RL. I am also a Master CH in game.
I am thinking of crossing over to fencer......I will never leave the Martial Art Classes...forget gunfighting....doesnt require skill to pull a trigger and run away from stuff...thats for cowards.
No, I gotta be in the fray....so....should I do it....I dont know. If I do, what advice can you give me?
I went the long hard road for Mastering Fencer, I used GCW missions to help me level but I think that although it took longer then most people the Rewards I reaped were much greater. I went Novice Fencer aboutt he same time I joined the GCW, give or take a day. The only thing I did was imp missions until Master Fencer (I did one or two animal missions).
Novice Fencer:
200-300 fp
0 - 100 credits.
Master Fencer:
21,000 FP in reserve
Two AT-ST
Warrant Officer II (Im not sure but I think thats close to 10,000 FP in rank)
4000+ FP used up on Stormtroopers that all DIED.
1,000,000 Credits.
2 Holocrons.
All this is from the GCW, I also did not mention that I was Novice CH along with Novice Fencer.
I know I could have levelled faster with pickets, etc. But I think that my way is still a very good way. It took me maybe 1 and 1/2 months to reach Master. It was slow at first but once I got my at-st it moved along pretty smoothly.

First I'll point out that shooting a firearm is no less a martial art than kung fooey stuff or swinging a sword.
That having been said, I've been a TKM for a while now and I've gotten a bit tired of it. I've been thinking of supplementing it or dropping it for Fencer out of boredom rather than out of not wanting to be FotM. I have the skill points to master both, so for now I am going to keep TK while advancing in Fencer.
If you drop TK, I'd highly advise you to keep the meditation line.
