I'm new to Novice Fencer, and I have 2 basic questions:

1) What's the best attack in the main skill tree (not including master of course) that I should go after first (based on max damage over time).

2) Also, is there a "best" attack for doing damage on lairs? I know some other professions have attacks that have a bonus to lair attacks.

do you want to do lots of damage with that one attack, or do you want to get the skills that give you really high speed and defense, which let you dish out more damage that way? it's either footwork or technique. footwork makes you fast and increases center of being. technique gives you body hit 3, which is the highest-damage ham specific attack we have.

If your looking to do a ton of damage in one hit your looking at the wrong proffesion, head towards commando. Here is the thing, we dont do damage but our damage over time is > then the damage any commando can do.

In other words, in the time it takes a commando to do 5000 damage ive already done 7000 or more.
