The other day I was fighting a couple of force crystal hunters. While using COB I was dodging roughly 90% of the inc hits until one of the force sensitive npc's hit me with an intimidate. As soon as intimidate landed I didnt dodge a single hit even though I had center of balance up.
Is this intentional?

Intimidation as it works now is the single worst state I can think of to get applied on a melee combatant. Halves your damage and virtually removes your defensive abilities. Even at 210 dodge and center up, the number of blows that land which ordinarily don't is incredible. Maybe Raphayl can check on this. The description of intimidation only indicates penalties toward your own offensive abilities, not defensive. It seems to be over twice as powerful as the description would indicate. Makes you kill slower and them kill you faster.

i hit ona nightsister once and i'll tell you what: they don't just turn you down, they turn you upside-down and give you a sound force spanking. which would have been hot, but they use force lightning as a paddle. rough.
might have been the cheesy pickup line i used, though...

YahI don't think the Nighstister Elder liked... "Nice Force wanna Fu..." Didn't go over so well... looked over her dead body though and sighed.... women my age are hard to come by.
But the Nighsister Ranger was a little more love tappy... but she just wouldn't stop tapping me... had to kill her too... guess younger women aren't my cup of tea.

Rofl, funny thing is though with COB you can dodge the lightning, force choke, throw etc... alot of the time. Its the times that it does get through that are the real pain. It just seems though that intimidation is doing more than its description and debuffing defenses also. I can understand stun having this effect since in the description I think it lowers both the npc's offense and defensive values. Also stun can be dodged while intimidation cant.
