Thread: A NICE FENCER STORY...

Hi everyone! Just wanna say Ive been Master Fencer for 2 months and it is the main reason I'm still playing.
But anyway I have a story to tell u. 
So i was in Fort Tusken and decided to go into a group to help some of the new players out. I was fighting a Captain with another member who actually was a master swordsman. He (obvioulsy) outdamaged me in the turkens mind pool then said I was ninja looting (since i looted creds). I immediately said he was wrong and that i could do about the same damage as he.
So he took out his hammer, and said how he would defeat me in one shot. I said "fine lets duel" then noticed he was buffed and had armor and I had niether. He said "ok I'll take off my armor this will still be easy". He was wrong.
I drank some brandy, ate some pixie and COB. He didn't hit me once and I constantly ran around him slowly hurting his mind.
After 2 minute he bagan to see he was losing even with a buff, and decided to end the duel. He asked me to peace and ddn't say another word.
Well that made my day.. a Master Swordsman buffed getting beaten by an unbuffed Fencer

er-not to burst your bubble, but fencer kinda beats everyone who doesn't have mods. and swordsmen usually suck in pvp against anyone. but using a hammer in pvp against a high defense opponent is stupid-terrible accuracy mods on hammers. he didn't know what he was doing.
*is still secretly sore from losing to a fencer/cm combo*

I'll agree that he wasn't on top of his game as a Swordsman but that is an interesting story.
But it's not nice to egg on other professions. It just creates animosity.

yeah, but it's still totally awesome dude, way to go. I can't stand people who run around saying how much better they are. next time *edit* kill his *edit*.

Im sorry, 
This was in no way an attempt to egg on other professions. This was the first time I had beaten another master elite profession in a duel (when he had he advantage). I was actually trying to say how much i like fencer.
(When I was leveling I was constantly told to quit fencer and go to swordsman because "fencer stunk"-- obviously a newb comment)
I know he wasn'tready for pvp but I wasn't either.
It's just that everyone is trying to see "who can do the most damage".. i was trying to say that's not always the most important factor in combat.
Again I didn't mean this to be a swordsman basher, just hoping some new fencer will see this and be happy they chose this profession.

I used to prefer to duel/pvp unbuffed rather than buffed b4 cm's were big. I just set health action and mind all to 1000 and everything else 400 so when i power boosted id have 1.5k all HAM then i would drink a brandy or two put on my stun armor chest plate and helmet and duel all the while healing when id get a lil low.

master fencer can beat any class unbuffed, with the exception of a cm, and a jedi knight or greater.

Very Nice......I had a experiance like this 2 weeks ago. My girlfirend just made her toon and I was hunting with her on Dant out of the mining outpost. At the time I had my Master Commando logo on and Flamethrower out. A Master Sword came up and wanted to dual to get rid of his buffs so he could rebuff. I said NP, I did not drink or eat anything or put my armor on at the moment. I did not land much damage on him, and he hit me with hit spls. Got incapped, and he start with the Grief Tells. So when I got up, and told him lets do this again. A friend of mine that showed up buffed me quick, drank 2 brandies and ate a some nice food (Canp, Air, Syntk). Then got ready as he came at me I switched weapons to my Stun Baton and put my Master Fencer Logo on. It was to late for him when he closed, (COB, intimd, KD him 1st time i got a good one, then Spamed Scatter2) he was having a bad time then backed up and Flamesingle2 and Flamecone2 until his Health was 3/4 black he finally got up to run and I dizzed him again. And as the flames consumed him...I DB him. The 1st time in PVP I was able to do that. He cloned and got mad at me, lol when he was the one that started it. He told me if he knew I was a fencer he would not have fought me.
