Agreed, i enjoy using fencer in PvP. I usually don't run into anyproblems using scatter hit unless they're mind is entertainer buffed, in which case i win through persistance

same here man, I'm a master fencer/master doctor and I can still hold my own in PvP. The way some people post about it on here you'd think that fencer was worse than image designer in combat

I enjoy fencer so far since I got 4,4,4,4 (damn ap). I PvP'd for the first time in many months on friday and managed to get two Kills before I died. The fun part is using your head to get a ranged prof to get in close instead of kiting.......or just burst run after them. I'm still learning but I enjoy it.

Fencer is great in PvP and PvE, many of the nay sayers either are not very good at using the profession or they want a faster win. There seems to be a movement globally in the game for more Soloability and quicker kills. With the extremely unbalanced armor and buffing system, it allows the heavier hitting professions survive longer than they really should, hence some feel fencer should hit harder to compensate. Personally I hope this profession never changes (other than maybe giving spin attack 2 a AoE posture down rather than the redundant blind).
I am also a master pistoleer and master fencer, love to play a defensive character.

I still use it in PvP. I still win a lot. But whenvever i run into someone who has 40% stun armor and a 60% psg i just avoid that person and let the rest of my group kill them. I can't possibly do enough damage to actually kill those people. I once not too long ago had a fight with a person in heavy armor like this and was a swordsman/rifleman. She would have gotten me if she hadn't run out of stims. It was a great fight though, lasted over 10 minutes.

i do very well with fencer as my main combat profession, having a good stun baton can take you a long way
