i guess you can expect some replies telling you fencer = pvp
that said unless you go up against a mob thats weak vs stun and strong vs kinetic/blast
they will always outdamage you

I don't know if I haven't learned the ins and outs yet, but compaired to the Teras Kasi masters and Swordsman... I don't feel like I'm very effective. I'm always into PvE, and don't wear much armor and such being part of a RP croud and it seems that the other melee folks are just plain out fighting me. I do like the doge bonus, and I don't get hit very often, but by the time I work the mob down I'm just as damaged as the others.

I'm just looking for some thougts, experiences that others have had. I think this is a great profession, espessially for RP, but can it compete with the PvE of the other melee profs?

U are right...Fencer can´t deal high amount of damage...TKA, Pike or Sword will outdamage Fencers most of the time...and if i compare both blade-profs(fencer vs. Sword) i can find only 3 good things for fencer: Being spd-capped without SEAs, havin high accuracy and havin some nice def. vs. stats...Looking at Swords i found: High damage, AP2-Weapons, good tanking cause second best toughness with +43(8), best stats for CoB, Counterattack as sec. def. skill....Seems a bit unbalanced for me...
