Thread: I've fallen and I can't get up...

The last couple of fights I had ended up with me on my back for a good long while. I'm not sure what mod allows you to get up but I'd like to know what's going on. I'm master fencer, 0440 doc, and the rest is tka.
Does attempting to get up and failing delay the process of getting back on your feet? Did they change something with dizzy kd?

how much tk are you? i believe once your down.. its ecquilibrium that gets you up faster. otherwise your mashing the stand button

Don't mash stand.
type
/stand wait about 5-6 seconds and if you end up on your back again type it in again.
typeing it in gives it enough time to calculate the chance for you to stand up and stay up.
otherwise you are just resetting the calculation resulting in autofailure and return to on your back.

Its a matter of patience and hitting stand once at a time till you stay up.

combat equilibrium helps for someone to get up faster from a kd/dizzy

Hehe silly noobs

If u can cure states u can almost instat-stand.
Create this macro
/healstate self;
/healstate self;
/stand;
when u go down bash the **edit** out of it like u mean business. You get about 4000 of the message "you are so dizzy you fall down". But you will get the "you stand up message". Whne this happenes those healstates will activate. U will flop one more time and then your up. In the unluckiest of events your looking at maybe 4-6 seconds of actually being kd'd.
If u can cure states u can almost instat-stand.

what I do is since I am a doctor I have a hotkey for healing dizzy, and I spam my dizzy hotkey and stand at the same time. I usually get up in a couple seconds, sometimes it takes a bit though (usually against TK's, i've found they are the hardest to get up from)

When I'm dizzied/kd'd, i use the standard /stand command in my funtction keys. I've noticed that, if I hit stand at this time, and get the messgae i've stood up,andi then mash /stand again, (in my haste to stand up,) the game recognizes it as a posture change, and again gives you the chance to fall down from being dizzied.
but being a doc, I've heard "/stand; /healstate" allows you to get rid of dizzy even before the game recognizes that you've changed posture, giving you a 100% chance to heal the dizzy state. That's just speculation tho...

umm, i just type /stand and i'm up, haven't fallen back down once yet......I am tkm though maybe that's why. or maybe you ppl just need to stop hitting the rum. (that's my rum anyways)

I use this exact macro and it works wonders. But not everyone is a doc...
