Thread: MD/MF PVP question?

I am Master Doctor / Master Fencer


I know we are supposed to be uber PVPers but i cant seem to win. Any ideas on combos that I should be using?

Any tips would help thanx.

This is diffcult to answer when we dont know any details of your pvp. So I will just name some essentials:


- Buffs on all stats including mind;

- Brandy and Canape to further improve your mind or if necessary instead of mind buff;

- Armour with stun layer between 30-40%;

- CoB-macro running;

- Tactics, go inside when a rifleman is firing at you and run if there are 10 persons attacking you;

- Good weapon, for instance Acklay stun baton or normal stun/gaderiffi with damage slice and power up.


I am not very good but when I follow these rules I survive and get around to killing others. Specifically on the master doc:

- make a macro for you to /stand and /healstate self

- make a macro for you to /cure poison and disease self

- make macro for the obvious heal self


And dont use macro's for combat, just try and land many states. For instance, intimidate will decrease the damage someone does.


Check you combat records to see where and how damage was done and handed out by you. It will teach you how it works best.

Im remastering it atm, tbh, the problem fighting other profs is purely ur mind. Agreed TKM's damage is mitigated alot, but, they can do mind damage....very...very fast, and swordsman just do uber mind damage. Tbh, you could get away with 1k ham, but just need uber, uber mind, my health and action usually never moves. and healing those nasty pikeman dots, takes mind. Canape and brandy, and muon and mind buffs, and that should be enough, but be warned canape lasts around 10 mins


Mind is the key my friend, buff it to hell

thanx for the info. i havent migrated my stats since i did the first day. i cant remember what they are but my mind is lower then action and health.. now i know i should have more mind but i do not know what to tell the ID what level to put my stats at. any ideas would be greatly welcome thanx

Well, as you can buff H and Aand considering vegetto's true comments I would say try and maximise your mind's stats. I think there is a cap to it but roughly (am at work atm) I would say 1/5th health, 1/5th action and 3/5th mind with secondary stats being about 2/3rd of primary stats (not entirely sure on that one).
