Master brawler is useful for : Lunge2 (Bugged/Nerfed KD) Berserk 2

Intimidate2.. Longer duration.. it's one of the best skills in the game in my opinion =)

Do you get some kind of bonus to your main melee skill after getting master brawler? Im still a noob when it come to most things, forgive me

Master Brawler makes you faster / tougher / better aimwith all melee types, and also gives +5 to ranged and melee defense. The main benefit I would say is the lunge 2, though if melee's actually do get some ability to tank the more powerful Taunting also granted by mastery might be useful later on.

Has anyone seen and done the math for the combined pluses for general melee of Master Brawler together with Master Fencer? It looks extremely formadible and worth while. Achieving Master Brawler is, IHMO, worth the effort. A Master Fencer/Master Brawler will definately have the upper hand on Melee bonuses over someone who is just a Master Fencer. Ranged Support helps out also with some general combat bonuses.

I considered mastering bralwer but Icouldn't justify using up48 out of my precious 250 points just so I can get the following extras:



  • +5 to One Hand Weapon Speed

  • +5 to One Hand Weapon Accuracy

  • +5 to Ranged Defence

  • +5 to Melee Defence

  • +20 to Warcry, Intimidate and Beserk

  • +30 Taunt

  • Upgrade to Beserk, Warcry, Intimidate and Lunge

  • And a bunch of stuff that I don't need related to Polarm, Two Handed and Unarmed.

Maybe there's something I'm not seeing. +5 to speed, accuracy, ranged and melee isn't very much. Then you have the +20 to warcry, intimidate and beserk. I guess that could be nice, but I'm not really sure how those bonuses work. The Taunt bonus, I couldn't care less for. And the upgrades to beserk, warcry, intimidate and lunge. Well, I'm not really sure about those either. I guess a boost to beserk would be nice. I never use Warcry and Intimidate. No comment necessary on Lunge. And as for the skills in polearm, 2h and unarmed... I'm not interested in using those if i'm master fencer, kinda defeats the purpose.
