I currently have a dedicated Commando/Smuggler on Sunrunner(Reb), a Doctor/Pisoleer on Ahazi(Reb) and I decided I wanted something different, so I am going to make a human fencer/CH. The servers I have played on, if you can even find a melee crafter than it is an afterthought to the more marketable ranged weapons. Since this is going to be a new character, I want to start him on a server with a weaponcrafter that actually makes the good stuffs, and cares about the meleer's. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Jenny here on Shadowfire concentrates on Melee. She share's a store with Arsenal, who concentrates on ranged.

Their both master weaponsmiths and they're both very helpful and happy to make things to order.

Additionly, they use master smugglers for slices,and sell unsliced versions as well.

Haldir on Bloodfin is pretty dedicated to melee. (naboo, about 2km north of Keren)

Fairly consistant with a half dozen good one-and-two-handed curves, and you can talk to him to get other stuff. He doens't make much ranged since the resources make the weapons... suck a little... but, the stats are great for melee material.

I am on Intrepeid and there is some good melee weaponsmith i know here that make really nice weapons.

Vanderlay on Valcyn is a dedicated melee weaponsmith. I'm pretty sure he's a master too because he sells Vibro Long Axes.

His weapons are all pre-sliced though (which he openly admits) and some people don't care to get them that way. *shrug* Far as I'm concerned it just saves me the need to find a decent smuggler.

Koryn on Bria is a Master Weaponsmith that makes only melee weapons.

D'tox on Naritus makes awesome melee weapons.

I suspect that most master weaponsmiths who make melee weapons do make some ranged weapons just because the demand is probably higher. That being said, there are at leastfour on Eclipse who appear to devote more time to melee than ranged. Sredna on Corellia, Dominous on Tatooine, Illian on Corellia, and Kanae on Corellia. That is not to say that others who split their time more do not make great weapons. I just think those four seem to focus on melee first and ranged or heavy weapons second.

You say melee weapons on ahazi are poor, but i will send you waypoints to at least three top notch melee crater shops. Theres one on the very north edge of moenia's building zone. Making stun batons at almost 95-130 now. Maybe you havn't had the time to find them, i won't say its easy. This post would do you better in the weaponsmith forum, or better yet try posting it in a galaxy forum you'd preffer playing on. Most smiths i've made connection with were in the galaxy forum. Good luck on that, and if all else fails turn your doc/pistoleer into a fencer/doc on ahazi. Sliced stun batons with powerup is doing 200 damage. Gaffi is 342.

Jaff on Intrepid makes great melee weapons. He's just west of Mos Eisley.

well i just made novice fencer and now im working on novice weaponsmith so ill then split time between the 2 mastering them and ill be dedicated to melee and btw im on shadowfire name Solmiti

Ya Art' Vanderlay is pretty much dedicated to melee, although she has recently been dabbling in ranged as well. Hands down, SHE has some of the best melee weapons on valcyn.

A little pricy but they are already sliced, so you know what you are going to get. I like pre-sliced weapons as I may be looking for a very specific stat based on my skill level. i.e. speed,dmg ect...
