im a ranged combat guy and soon to be commando, would taking some skillz of fencer be worth it cause the defense + and kd+ those could help lots.

Pistoleers have very simialar defenses to state effects and have the same dodge bonuses, maybe easier to go that route with commando from askill point investment (saves 29 skill points). Will also help tremendously when using the launcher pistol.
