Why are gaffi sticks fencer weapons when they are pike/staff weapons in A New Hope? I was thinking about this tonight, and it seems to me that out of all the profession you guys seemed to have gotten the most unimaginative end of the stick. Like it was just cobbled together. Of course, they did fix it and give you like the best melee defences in the game. Just a thought I was having.

I always thought there ought be a 1h gaffi and a pike gaffi, like the 1h and 2h curved sword-Same art, different stance

Actually we went over this before, At no time was any Gaffi in any movie larger than 3-4feet, most Pike weapons are aproximately 6 feet. Unless you are going to tell me that the Tuskens in the movies are 10 feet tall.

But I wouldn't mind the Pikemen getting a Pike Gaffi... it's very clear that Gaffi are unique and some of them could be 5-6 feet if someone so desired.

I agree, even in the description of the gaffi it states that its just scraps of metal thrown together to make a weapon. I don't see why you couldn't have a pike sized gaffi and even a two handed gaffi. Its a tuskens weapon of choice because they are scavangers, i'm sure they are used in many fashions by them and in no way should they be limited to a single prof.

however this is a game, and the game needs diversity along with balance (cross fingers CURB) so its understandable that they gave it a fencer. Also more swords are comming into play as we've seen from the CURB weapons that got posted awhile ago.
