Depending on your skills and your playstyle you may have many differant ways of dueling. In a post before I gave a couple of templates for roleplaying while dueling, this is just strictly combinations of moves that you have as a fencer.

My template right now is Master Brawler Fencer 1-4-3-2 TKA 2-0-2-4

Before you accecpt that duel, evaluate your opponent. Is he buffed? What weapon is he holding? And prepare yourself for what you might think he will try to do. ( If he / she is holding a powerhammer for god sakes put a composite helmet on )

The strategy i use most often is only works around a couple of specials. Intimidate2 and Warcry2 being what I use most of the time.

Keep CoB up at all times as well as Intimidate2 on them. And apply all status effects as possible, ( I have Stun dizzy blind ) And avoid being hit. How do we do that stay moving they will have max range penalty more than likely and also another -50 to accuracy while we are moving. We wont be spamming specials so we are not overly concerned with the penalty.

If they spam specials I can useually pull of a win by applying warcry2 at the right time. What is the right time? when their health is at about 1/4 of the bar roughly 250 Health, which is when most people if they have medic skills will apply thier stim.

Now a smart duelist with 1/4 health that cant do squat for 20 seconds will try to get out of range. Not a problem. Get your lunge1 to stick so they are in kneel position and unable to move from that. Apply your 2 health bleeds at this time then apply dizzy. After that they will more than likely have thier warcry extinguish. But now they are dizzy KD for the duration of the dizzy effect and still unable to heal.

Time to warcry1 them, right when they are in prone position. By this time both of the bleeds should have ticked bringing them to more than likely 1 health. And bodyhit1 will take them out.

This has worked with great success for me and I hope it helps others

hah, ok here it goes, the faslik authentic dueling strategy

evaluate the opponent

make sure he challenges you

then use the /fiddle command on him

when hes trying to tell you he doesnt swing like that say /accept and mas spam bodyhit3

believe it or not, it works lol

even though your melee start the duel 30m away. That way you can warcry befor he does anything, giving you time to do what ever you need to.

If you have to stand next to him, and decide to /duel first, then use CoB and spam warcry, re apply CoB when it wears off and keep spamming untill he accepts. Once he accepts, if your spamming he might get 1 attack off befor you warcry, once warcry sticks clear combat log and dizzy+lunge.

When being kited, run around a corner they will follow, as you clear the corner turn around right away. With lag and him not really paying attention you should be able to close into lunge range on him.

You can, if you have a nice focus food, make a macro to use CoB every 30 secs or so, that way it is always up.

Our bleeds are useless in PvP they dont do enough damage for the time it takes, go ahead and just hit them.

Take full advantage of your charecter, fencer is a defensive melee class, so stack defensive skills.

Master brawler, warcry1+2 stack. thats a 30 second delay.

Use foods and spices as heals.

dont use lunge untill your dizzy sticks. No point in dizzy+lunge, unless your sure your dizzy will stick, otherwise you now have a 30 second timer on your lunge with them not dizzy, waste of time. When fighting melees is better to spam dizzy till it sticks then lunge.

You got alot more points left over, use them.

I usually use Lunge 2, then stack bleeds while they stand back up, then I get a Warcry 2, dizzy, and Intimidate, then I spam one hand hit 3 till they start attacking me again, I use Lunge 2 till they fall, now with dizzy they usually don't stand back up before they die (assuming they survived that long to begin with)

fencer 2000, swordsman 0433, brawler 3440

first off i make it clear that the duel starts as soon as the challenges are accepted (they go red unless grouped). Once that happens i quickly get a warcry1 in (i have bio-clothes that let this hit all the time). After that i blind(unarmed). Switch to hammer put on bleeds. Bad to vibro blade- dizzy+posturedown. Hammer: headhit3 till they die. (unbuffed-badlyarmored this takes 2 hits... this is mainly for the duels where i know i wont hit often and my dmg will be soaked up).

Baiir don't use that on a Blademaster you will lose every time due to misses... if you fight a blademaster use a weapon like 2hd Curved Sword with it's bonuses to accuracy, you will never hit a Blademaster like me with a Hammer, I've had Master Heavy Swordsman kill themselves on my stun baton (me doing no specials) while they use all their HAM missing my head.

Exactly the same way Master Bounty Hunters kill themselves against me missing my eye.

I don't duel, but I do stay overt all the time, usually situational awareness is the key rather than specials... I've killed more people who "forgot they were Overt" than any others, and most of the others are usually just not paying atention to their radar to see the red dot closeing on them, I often mirror people in towns running from place to place with someone else to hope thier dot covers mine, I close from within groups, then Lunge 2 1hdHit3/Dizzy2/Spin2, usually people are dead by the Dizzy2... if they are buffed then it takes another round or two of 1hdHit3's.

One Master Bounty Hunter did incapacitate me once... but he didn't think I would get up immediately like I did.
