Thread: Best combo class for Fencer?

I think the best day in my life was the day my holocron said fencer! I had grown to hate combat working on carbineer, which I sadly did for "fun"...


But, anyway would TKM and Fencer be a good combination, IE would I keep all the ranged and melee defense mods and such.


Also in the case of the vibro knuckle is it considered a one handed mellee weapon and thus allowing me to use more mods?

I guess master fencer with master brawler and the TKA meditation/powerboost would be a pretty fierce melee opponent. You'd not have any ranged skills to fall back on though.

VK is considered unarmed weapon .. TK is the only one that has a COB mod that doesnt stack with another class atm to.. There Def Mods like KD and Dizzy stack but there Defense Acuity (which is there Dodge, Block. Counterattack mod) doesnt stack with any other profession. However Meditate is nice but you have to understand Meditate at the low levels is pretty crappy. At Novice Med you heal bleed, lvl 1 - poison , lvl 2 disease + powerboost, lvl 3 nothing , and lvl 4 wounds. The powerboost at med lvl 2 only lasts about 4 mins to, at the highest lvl of meditation Master box Power Boost lasts 10 mins.

this might sound funny, but if you're not totally into just combat, smuggler/fencer is really cool. I mastered fencer cause i wanted to. Then the holiday holo said entertainer, did that and now my next said smuggler. Well, i'm not going to get more holos unless they're given to me so I have to say its a lot of fun being a fencer/smuggler. Not to mention slicing my own gaffi sticks

since pistols r one handed weapon check out the dodge stats u'll get then


what good is a commandos damage if he's not able to hit u (besides fencer hits hard enough)

Unfortunately currently even though a commandoo can miss, his Dot will still almost alwaysland....never seen one miss on a player...at least on me...it's the Fire Dot that will kill you hehe.


I hear thatDots may be addressed in thecombat review, which may affect us Fencers as well double edged sword....

funny how the dodge doesnt stack anymore and thats because of people like you who cant keep their mouth shut about something good to come to a gimped profession


oh and BTW pistols arent one handed weapons they are pistols...just like the weapon type on it says
