I was really hoping someone... anyone... would get this thing before jtl hit. Now it seems that the hurry is to find it before the CU which may in fact make this a useless item depnding on it's stats. I am very dissapointed that the in game logic for this quest isn't more intuitive.
On Chilastra... Victor won the election, I got the mission from him to bring back a trophy from Ft. Tusken but when I got there.. no observers where in sight.. I stayed a while and killed all the regulars that spawn but nothing. I'll try again another day. I also spoke to the merchant lady behind the capitol building that has the little jawa companion and she stated some of the merchants were looking for rare bones and then said "something to do with sand people". I went to the Tusken Bunker and killed everything in sight and for the first time the Tusken King did not spawn. I've gone there at least 6 times and the King always spawned but not this time. I really think the king may be the key. Why would Victor and the merchant send you to the same place for a mission? And since she said "sand people" and not "Tuskens, Ft. Tusken, or Tusken Raiders" I think they have to be looted somewhere other than at the Fort.
Of course this is still speculation... nothing more than random thoughtsafter pondering and thinking about this quest sleeplessly.

aight folks i was workin with a friend and we were planning on keepin this under wraps but... (he isnt very bright and screwed it up so we need help)
For those of you who have been on this topic for a while may remember some guy posted a while back about the Tusken King missions, well my friend found the NPC that gives the missions, the king has about 50k-ish ham and is has 45% resists to everything but Blast,Stun,Acid and ofcourse Saber, i have a nice stacker template and with buffs food and armor i have no problem taking on about 3 of these guys at once(dont do more than 3 if u cant heal bleed on teh fly) My main account that i was doin them on is inactive atm but i will be reactivating it either today or sometime this week at which point i can post the WP to the person who gives the missions, the King spawn in this lil town thing about 600m from the mission giver, u have ride close to get him to spawn then go back to the NPC and drop the mission, rinse and repeat, but if u kill the king u finish the mission, i have killed about 20-30 of them total so far and i have looted some ok stuff, i got a few crap gaffi's and tusken rifles i got a set of 8 or so Projectile Feed Mechanisms which were base so i destroyed them i also got a set of 8 or so CM crafting things dont really remember the name, they were ok so i donated them to a guilded CM, but my best loot from them was a Tusken Robe with +8 Unarmed Speed. and my friend looted a tusken rifle with a fairly nice health poison. so if yall wanna have fun with that WP when i post it please do just lemme know if ne one gets bones or ne thing, i dont know if u will because it is a mission spawn but ya never know, also there is a MagSeal at the WP so u can check that.

I'm chilling with Acklay bones waiting for someone to tell me who to give em too, 'cos I can't find the gentleman who seems to speak of fabled bones. :/

I'm pretty sure that Sean has to be elected next so that the merchant will appear that wants the "rare bones". However I highly doubt acklay bones will do the trick but it's worth a shot. The merchant won't be there if Victor is in office.
The merchant with the jawa companion is the one who says that other merchants were looking ofr "rare bones" and that they didn't know how to get them but mentioned something about "sandpeople".

sitting here reading this (8 am my time and havent slept yet) and was just reading through the previous posts
now i may get called a newb or something for saying this (remember cant think well when no sleep, food, sex, or anything good in past 8 hours) but maybe sand people could be jawa's??
just a thought as they do somewhat live in the sand with their sandcrawlers and such

could be but i would doubt it, the tuskens are also called sand people in many occasions
and i ifit is jawas that we nd to deal with, then who ever came up with that misleading clue should be fired, and then fired again

the only reason i think i thought of jawas was the simple fact that when a npc in game says "sand people" i myself as everyone else immediately thought "tuskens", maybe SoE really wants us to think on ehtis one, like i say, dont always take the most obvious route
