the thing at the bottom says Imperium's Fist. The player town im apart of, and helped to found. its an imperial strong hold on the planet lok, on the intrepid forum.
I can't really go back and change my account name, and even if i could i think I would not change it. I was very proud of what I accomplished. I had no group, i died an awfull lot, and new very little about the game when i started, as it is with everyone who starts something new.
a class that was said that can not be leveled solo, because of the need of medic skills, i was able to solo it to master.
This was before i got the genius idea to buy medic........ya i dont know what i was thinking. I had just came fromDAOC. , if you wanted to heal, you became a healer hehe, i didnt understand the game fully then.
like i said i was very proud of what i accomplished, and about 3 or 4 weeks later i found about these boards, as i never really even noticed them before. thats were i got my account name.
my title says "Teras Artisan Master.
there is no such tittle in the game. I was a master artisan from holos, and i was a master TK that i gave up to do holos.
I keep it as a joke, because of how many people are doing TK now. not that its bad, just that its not as unique as it once was. the joke says "even artisans are becoming TK masters these days"
Right now I am a Master fencer, im working up pistoler to get 4/0/4/0 and im 1/0/4/0 atm.
i will be getting 4/0/0/3 TK and master brawler....
anyways sorry for the long reply, i figured id be detail as to not add more confussion.

This post is about how people think that fencers are too powerfull, and its design was to stop that type of thinking in its tracks, and get everyone on the same page, that fencing is not uber. or god like or what ever.
I dont really think anyone was calling nerfs, but who knows. This thread sorta lost alot of steam, is there yet any more points left to prove?
P.S. im an old resident, none troll. my posts have depth and content, and yet i still manage to keep my numbers high. interesting to say the least.
you know were you can take this kali, the post has your name on it, let it go, or debate me. like i told the fencer corespondant. this issue between you and me is finished, unless you post in that post.

Really depends how you define bragging. there are numerous posts that say things like "what have you killed" , "what tactics do you use" , or "what moves work the best vs X player" I even wrote a pretty lenghty post in the TK forums to help new TKs in pvp, and annalyzed the other combat proffessions. That doesn't mean im bragging, just informing, and backing that information up with facts. how else can it be done other then saying what you killed and in the mannor it was done?
When i was a TKM i soloed a Dark Jedi Master, the fight lasted around 25 minutes. my other skills were pets, and i sacraficed them to the jedis over and over. TMBs and GPHs were being 4 shoted. everyone has 250 skill points, I bet that even you have some medic. that skill counts, and if you heal yourself once then you used another skill. brawler skills like warcry or intimdate are not fencing abilities either. So i agree with you here, but i think liar might be strong, as i dont think anyone would flat out disagree with such an obvious statement.
On multiple occasions Fencers without Master Brawler have posted how they have a difficult time beating Master TKM. This is the reality. Without Warcry 2 and Intimidate, or additional defense bonuses from other professions, or spice, or TKA meditation line, or food buffs, beating a TKM in a duel is a formidible task. (Unless you purposely pick out aTKM that sucks.)
And this is what i find interesting. I can only speek for myself, and i dont know alot of fencers. I posted something in the TK boards, so i thought id simply share that here when i found out that people were referring to me in this post. I had 6 boxs in fencer. Master footwork, and 2 boxs into the bleed tier. I dueled many TKMs that i knew and nearly allways won.
This could be alot of reasons why i won. It could be that because im a wookiee i have a natural +10 to warcry, so i get them to land more often. It could be that dodge works better then i had anticipated with CoB, and that compiled with Defensive acuity being utterly broken as well.
Im not master brawler either. my skills at the time were simply Master CH, 0/4/2/0 fencing, and master artisan. My weapons were not exactly uber about 275 gafti baton. what can i say, these master TKs didnt exactly suck either. Did not pick out Tks that sucked either, and i fully understand that it was something of a rather high challenge.
Point is i wanted to share that it can be done, and no didnt use pets either. the reason i even posted this orginnaly in the tks boards was because i had something like 40 accuracy mods vs TK with 200+ accuray mods, and they could not hit me, but yet i could hit them all the time. That was the point. so they could fix defensive acuity, not nerf fencer.
Even now, with my KD Defense at 90 and Posture Change defense at 110 - I STILL get knocked down (Usually by TKM) frequently enough that I have to watch it. It happens a LOT less then before becoming a Hybrid..... but it still happens.
yep the accuracy on TKM is good, i should know, and if they can't ever knock you down that would be drasticly over powered, don't ya think? thats there bread and butter right there. Thats what they do, they rely on that heavily.
I have played Fencer with the bare basics, since the beginning. I speak from experience. We got a HUGE performance boost with the last few patches - but that brought us from nearly unplayable (except by the most diehard of geeks) to a VIABLE (not UBER) class.

Am I 'uber'? I hope to hell not.But I think it's safe to say that my dueling skills are known as some of the best on Flurry. To GET to that point, I had to pick up MULTIPLE defense lines, dropping ALL of my other support skills except the barest of medic skills. It was not Fencer that made me the tough opponent I am... it was smart planning about which other profession skills to COMBINE with it, that made the difference.
well you hope your not uber, but yet your one of the best duelers on flurry. I dont really think you believe that. you were being humble to a point, but if your hopeing your not uber, yet saying your the best dueler, your saying that basicly everyone that loses to you, sucks bad.
Now dont get mad and say im putting words into your mouth, lets just be honest. you think your uber, thats fine, you probably are. Nothing wrong with the truth.
Yes stacking defeneses are part of the game, and are a great addition to the game. you spend your 250 points just the same as everyone else. If you choice to be a defensive power house as opose to a TKM/mater weapon smith. Then you should be able to beat that TKM/weapon smith most or all of the time. you spent them, so they should pay off.
Ive said before that i think for the points spend, people should be getting more defenese not less.
So enough with this chest pounding and BMOC crap. We are a decent profession. We are what we are supposed to be.That is all.

Mine said master Carbineer and I was half way there then decided I don't really wanna be a jedi and dropped it for master fencer.
