Our chances of getting an AP2 weapon are practicaly zero, the pistoleers just got a Master weapon and asked if it could be AP2, and were told no.

Let's look at this reasonably. AP2 would be great, but we are wielders of light weapons, not wielders of ultra powerful weapons. I would be very happy to just see the lightfoil go in at AP1, but yes I would like to see it be AP2. We have been getting denied new weapons while everyone else is getting new ones, so let's just try for AP1 for now and maybe we will get what we want.

i posted this previously in another thread and i still think it would be a nice addition to fencer. let me know what the rest of you think
I think it would be awesome if a fencer could use two weapons, a primary and secondary weapon, but it would have to be a matched set. i propose that in addition to the dual weapons a defensive bonus should apply, and it should be a master ability.
dueling rapiers:
armor piercing none
speed 4.0
damage 50-125
damage type kinetic
ham costs
health 20
action 30
mind 30
melee defense bonus +20
this would be an average, not uber, pair of weapons. when crafting a set of dueling rapiers the damage and defensive bonus would be inversly proportional so you could opt to have damage incresed at a cost to the defensive bonus.
titanium aluminum 50 units
polysteel copper 45 units
nutronium steel 15 units
lokian fiberplast 10 units
rylle gemestone10 units
2 identical sword cores
experimental effectiveness
overall quality 66%
shock resistance 33%
experimental defense
mallability 66%
unit toughness 33%
this is just an idea i came up with critiques will be appreciated not flammed

I like it overall, but we are good on defenses. I think having a weapon adding even MORE to our already impressive defenses would be overkill.
Otherwise, it looks like a sound contribution at first glance.
