I've run into a good weapon crafter on Eclipse who I've been buyign from to experiment with...

So far my Ryyk was my favorite weapon until I noticed a few things, the HAM health was like 56/40/20 (approx)the Range mods were -7/-7/-7 and the speed was kidna crap at 3.9but my damage on mine was like 68-188 sliced with a 21% increase...

So, I started looking into one hand Curved blades and after slicing damage I got this - 40/50/20 (approx.)HAM, it came with 2.5spd, 88-183 damage (21% slice), and 10/10/10 range mod...all this and less the cost of the Ryyk, faster (in my case) speed, better base damage, better accuracy, and action pool intensive like my character is set up to be. I'll be buying up more curved swords and slicing them until I get that "perfect" blade heh...

The weapons that have very small damage ranges (ex. 130-140) and 2.0 speed are bugged weapons. These weapons dropping was a constant problem throughout beta, which was thought to have been eliminated. Basically, as far as I can tell, these are the weapons that NPCs use against you when they fight. The moment they die, these weapons are supposed to poof, and proper loot is supposed to be generated. What seems to happen is to to synchronisation problems, or just plain lag, players who loot very fast (as soon as opponents are dying) may find these wepons show up in their inventory. There were quite a number of wipes of these weapons in Beta, and should these weapons start to show up again in an obvious way, I would expect more wipes, and possible account warnings.

I've got a Ryyk Blade made by a Master Weaponsmith on Corbantis. I'm trying to remember the right numbers (I meant to write them down). It is sliced recently. With that slice I received a 22% damage increase. I think I would of preferred a delay lowering in stead though. No big deal.

2.7 Delay

35%ish Wound

30/50/40 ish HAM drain. I think that's kind of high. I'm looking for a curved sword to experiment with.

WOW. I know everone seems to love Ryks, And curverd swords. But I just got a vibro blad crafted. 35-135 sp 1.7 HAM 15/20/14. I don't Know what armour piercing does but it seems to just melt everything I come accross. ITS FRICKEN AMAZING. I think the vibro blade has been overlooked and AP has been underated. I took on 5 yellow Bandits with blasters and the contest wasnt' even close, I ate them all with one hit kills. MUNCH MUNCH. I LOVE MY BLADE!!!

Lowca weaponsmith hasnt really experimented with vibroblades even though i wish she had.. have a 57 - 158 2.7 speed vibroblade.. gonna get new one soon hopefully can get faster speed
