Thread: Master Fencer/Master Doc Ultimate PvP template?

When you throw a poison or disease on anyone you are rooted and frozen for 4 seconds. If against a doctor then he has that much time to throw a cure on himself. If you're fighting another melee your chances of landing a warcry isn't all that great not to mention that its duration is reduced by their innate defenses. Also, if you're not a master combat medic then your damage modifier is only 1.75 which makes a pretty good size dent in the amount of damage you do per tick and the range they can be thrown. Anyone packing good brandy or just a shot of muon is going to give your poison a hard time. Hope you have a decent MCM making this stuff for you. Whats the range for warcry btw? Is it a point blank or will it reach 64m?

Being a combat medic isn't all glory bells and whistle in PvP like so many non-CM's seem to think it is. Doctors own CM's in PvP everytime.

I have the master fencer/master doctor/novice entertainer template on ahazi but

on corbantis I've decided tka 4004, master fencer, and doctor 3040. Gives me really good defenses, meditate the mind wounds off, force of will, heal all states, poisons, and fires. I figure disease ticks dont ever kill me unless there is a poison to help it, and meditate takes care of a disease much quicker than a poison.

Thats why I chose that template.

Hehe, what he said. Set these up:

/DOC;
/ui action clearcombatqueue;
/firstaid;
/curepoison;
/curedisease;
/healstate;
/reviveplayer;
/macro DOC

You can look this macro so that it is constantly running. You cure states and status effects instantly, you cure poison and disease instantly, you heal whatever state has been put upon you instantly and if you're close by a friend, you revive them instantly. It runs in the background of your combat queue.

/COB;
/pause 31; (insert your duration here)
/ui action clearCombatqueue;
/macro COB

Those running = Almost invincible. I hate fighting docs.

Hehe, yeah, can you tell I'm not this template? I took it from the doc forum awhile back for guildies that are docs to tinker with. I'm guessing a working variation is out there - the one that I posted would clear your combat queue nonstop also. The guy who posted it seemed to talk like he was able to do other things while he had it running. Possibly having it on like an 8 sec timer so that a poison or disease wouldn't have time to tick before it was cured, but state/status effects might get stuck for a short period? Not really sure, but I can tell you the doc/fencers that I've seen are awesome fighter.

LET ME EXPLAIN HERE WE GO

master fencer / master tkm / medic /0/2/1/0 / pistoleer 1/0/4/0 / brawler 4/4/0/2

this allows you to have fencer great defences and since the cap of dodge to 125 no need to do the whole tree and gives you tkm so incase you need it (always no having to equip a gun in an unexpected fight) and good combat equilbrim. medic alows you to use good b's and pike lets you use diseases

the other is the rifle/fencer

what about this template?

master fencer/ tk 4004/ swords 0040/ pikeman 0040 and master brawler

the only weakness i see is with a cm and disease but thats what a good doctor by your side is for

youhave enough points left over to get some medic

what yall think of that?

Yeah I mean all templates depend on your playstyle and if you are going to have back up. I always recommend that you have at least 1/2 to 1/3 of your group having doc skills if not master doc. And oh by all means I'm not saying fencer/doc isnt good. I mean comon its one of the only classes that can take on a 4/4/4/4 guardian and actually win....poor jedi defenses. I can never beat high level jedi cuz they love to force run away so they can force heal their mind pool after warcry wears off. If you have a doc with you at most/all times and want melee...its always good take fencver/tk....at least tk for powerboost omg this skill kills me sometimes. Especially Zabrak tks.....I mind incap them....they powerboost right back up and use EQUILIBRIUM and go back up to about full health. Its so sweet looking......but like people without a doc nearby often do....died

Oh and about the heal all macro for master docs.....the one thaqt was put up earlier is for pure support....if you want to make it for pvp then set it on a 3-4 second timer.....then set for cure poison....cure fire (or whatev it is called)...cure dizzy....cure state. PLus if you arer a doc u can use the get up from dizzy macro that will save you often.

For those that are fencer-docs, how do you fare without ranged mitigation? My alt (master fencer/doc 4020) currently has the pistoleer line with ranged mitigation and defenses, which I am considering giving up for TKA 4004. However, losing 40-50 def vs. KD, stun, and blind, plus ranged mitigation 2 for more ranged/melee defense and meditate is a tough tradeoff.

/sigh when will some of you learn template making and having doc rox, but much of the game is based on skill tapes.....macros.....strategy....and crazy weapons and armor....Because I can wear a form fitting shirt that gives +modifiers to warcry intimidate and then if I didnt have it already maxed out I could get any skill tapes for it. My warcry lands most everytime and if not I hit it a second time before starting my macro up. Then get the necklace for +5 effectiveness and then get as many skill tapes as you can to increase your effectiveness since it will stack up since I'm not master cm. So I can warcry 2 which is cone effect for now and stop someone for 20 seconds.

Yes the poisons are made by a master cm and I only use poisons in pvp that are made from venom.

Ok so here is how the macro works....warcry1 lands 10 seconds of freedom.

/mind poison 4 seconds

/health poison 4 seconds

/action poison this lands just 1-2 seconds after first warcry wears off. This means the doc has either just cured health or mind poison. He now has a 3 second wait till he can heal again thus giving me an opportunity to repeat.

I am a master fencer.......3/0/0/0 doc I use poison antidote b's made with janta blood that raises these very high....I have lots of janta cuz I run janta missions for cash....and then 4/0/0/4 cm. My baton atm w/o is only 220-283. I

I usually then go all out with my fencing skills intimidate dizzy, go for a blind, try lunge....if this doesnt take them down I usually whore scatter hit 2 to wear down all the pools. If the doc cures all those poisons and status effects in 10-20 seconds (I usually try to land my status effecteffects with dot weapons) Riflemen....riflemen are easy especially riflemen/cm...rifleman/doc is somewhat harder. I try to keep the same process of mind poison followed by another poison.....burts run if I have to.....blind, dizzy, lunge and have my way with them b/c rifle docs usually dont have enough skill points in kd defense. /rant off.

Thats just my rant though lol...I give everyone full rights to tinker with it or judge how they see fit.

Venom enhanced poisons? Janta blood cures? You just called off 500k for that pair. Sorry, I'm just a CM and cant afford that kind of stuff. Janta blood is rare enough but venom drops are even rarer (most people dont bother to look that up).

In a duel what you're saying here makes sense. In a PvP melee you're talking all garbage.

Actually I'm not talking all garbage......Janta blood is the way to go since alot of people use them I sometimes mix with good rancor bile to get as many uses as possible. But actually I switched my template around somewhat though b/c cm is a bit overpowered.

Went a little different.......Pls dont assume....you dont know my play style

Peace
