Thread: Fencer Weapons

I have heard that most fencers use the looted weapons because their is a lack of good crafted weapon available. I am just curious which weapons you guys would use(or see that have potential) if they could be crafted well.
I'm a Custom order Weaponsmith, probably the top left on our server at the moment and enjoy making top notch weapons. Since there seems to be a real lack of good weapons in the fencer profession I'm interested in seeing what I can do or if it is truely a hopeless feat for you guys at the moment. Somehow I doubt it's hopeless based on my experiences so far. They said that PH's were pretty hopeless as well unless you had a nicely converted one but I have since made a PH that had 833min-1387max damage(pupped) with a 100 SAC, crafted after the curb. The new user of this PH says that he hit's in PvP for roughly 1700pts of damage. So clearly not a wasted effort and I am simply curious to see what can be done with the fencer profession. So Just an idea of what types of weapons look like they would be usable for your profession.
I used to make Fencer weapons pre-curb but they have changed pretty drastically and since I no longer regularly supply any fencers I have no idea what kind of ranges you guys are looking for on your crafted weapons. And as you can see by the list below the WS community hasn't even been much help for you guys as of yet, but I'm always up for a challenge.
Thanks for looking into this. It's gotta be stun baton. I highly doubt there's any level 54 weapons that could compete with quest weapons out there so I think we'd all be curious to see how high you can get on a stun baton. Perhaps you'll give me a reason to take the adk off mine. Read the stats a couple posts down and see if you can get close.
*Edit. Wait, someone claims they got 876 on a baton post curb?

nice stun batons are still the most-used one handed weapon that is craftable.
Under what condition do you use your stunner, is it mainly when you need lower SAC since you can craft those to a much lower sac than looted weapons? or is there another reason to use them?

get me that baton unsliced with a SAC lower than 84 and I'll buy it from ya.
my current one is
412-820
speed 1.84
SAC 84
now I'veseen aPH with
990ish max
speed 1.9
SAC 83
You'll notice that the best melee PvPers arn't going for the extreme high damage, they prefer getting the SAC as low as possible while trying to keep the damage up.
If you want some stats which would make a good baton.
damage 400-850
Speed 2.0
SAC 80
unsliced, make me that and call it "Ender's Wrath" and we'll talk

Your talking about 15pts of sac different from the one I made (702max, 65sac), that is roughly 5pts freed up which would translate into about 75pts of damage. putting the above test at around 775-780 max damage and 80 sac. With higher cubes you could potentially free up another point putting us up to about 790-795, and then the agents would increase it accordingly, realistically we're probably talking around the 825 range or so with 80 sac.
With good acklay bones you could easily hit the damage caps, but then you'd be struggling on the SAC again. As for the PH stat, that's nothing that great really, PH's start at a much higher damage to begin with. I made a PH post-curb where the final stats on it were 833min-1387max(sliced and pupped), it had 100 SAC on it with a 2.8speed as I recall. I hit both the min and max damage caps on that one but by using Acklay bones the best possible SAC on a PH is 95, it is not possible to get anything lower in SAC using acklay bones. I'd have to check and see how the stunners handle SAC while using an acklay bone though they may handle it slightly better. But that PH while somewhat slow and relatively high sac(actually low for a good PH) hits extremely hard, which was my goal in crafting it.

now we're starting to get in numbers I'm liking ![]()
I'm going to have to think on this one and decided exactly what I want ![]()
The PH I'm talking about was using red cubes to make, making the SAC a lot lower. I always fight with SAC pups on and I'd get them damage sliced so... (If I have your numbers right, estimated)
65/702 = 46/758
69/717 = 48/775
73/732 = 51/791
So I'll think about it ![]()

Speeds not an issue with me with 160 (g35 +1h65 + sea50 + ab20) I hit insanely fast anyway and rip through my action quick enough with a SAC of 59![]()
Going to have to go down into the geo caves I guess, god I hate PvE
I did do some test with Acklay bones which if we can get our hands on the last exceptional I know of on the server my estimated stats would be...
2.35 speed
840 max
75 sac
Of course this is unsliced. So pretty good potential there. You could slap a 12% speed slice on it and get it to...
2.0 speed
840 max
75 sac
And I think min on this was an expected 339 if I recall correctly. However being the last exceptional bone that I know of it's not likely to be cheap, I also know the owner had intended to use it personally as well at some point so not really even sure if he'd be willing to sell it, but I thought I'd throw this out for ya anyways. Oh and on acklay bones, 75sac is the lowest it will possibly go, so no way to get that any lower.
