Do you notice how the mobs just stand there and take getting shot like they were on coffee break? Hell if someone started shooting me, I'd be charging at them right away. I think this would solve the problem and increase the demand for melee, is to have the mobs realistically close in without wandering around for a while while they get shot.
Very often when I solo and a mob is about to die it tries to run away. Even when I'm on follow and are right on top of the mob in my view, I get "out of range" all the time. Only way I can avoid this now is to run ahead of the mob so I can hit it when it catches up to me.
I keep thinking I'll give up Marksman, but then they run and the only way I can stop them is by switching to my pistol (Pistol Specialist in Marksman) and shooting them. It's not right to have to always fall back on the ranged weapons.
As of _5_ minutes ago. Defense vs KD is NOT working. I just tested 100 attempts with a bounty hunter using Underhand shot. of 100 attempts I resisted knockdown 7 times.
Let me say that again.
out of 100 KD attempts using underhand shot by a Bounty hunter I resisted 7 times. The other 93 times I was flat on my ass. Combat equilibrium, which supposedly autorecovers you from KD seemed to have no effect.
