I read on one of the other treads that is is a reward from the elections, some player had been chatting with a dev and he said that the mace had been ingame since the elections. Dont know if its true though.

I think that "some player" was Minerunner, the Fencer Correspondent, so it is probably true.

i vote for a loot in a place where a "normal" master fencer has no chance to survive or deal any damage, like the Corvette or the DWB.

I don't know if you have the privliage to answer this question Minerunner but is the mob that drops this loot feasibly killable by a master fencer? In other words does it have 90 - 100% resists to stun and kenetic?
Again, if you're at liberty to say.

You imps should love Jar Jar, he was so easily manipulated into opening the political path for Palpatine to become Emperor. He betrayed the Republic and didn't even know it. He should be killed do to his ignorance alone.

ok....i saw a thread that minerunner posted and it says that its the RAREST reward for the bestine election.....from his response to what i said earlier that doesnt seem to mix very well...maybe if you do that guys quest to kill the observer or whatever it MIGHT drop? but its the RAREST so it wont drop everytime? we shall see.....

I saw it in that loading screen with the wookiee armor, looks like a lead pipe that jawa's would have salvaged off a starship... ooohh, that gives me an idea!

Even if it is the rarest reward for the Bestine election someone on one of the servers would have got it before now same as if were a loot item.
