Mastered Fencer in November of 2003. Deleted that character deleted character when he died. Created new. Mastered Image Designer because it was fun. Deleted that character on death number 2. Mastered Doctor on 2-1-2004. Created mastered Fencer shortly after. No deaths.,......Doc+Fencer is good? Or Fencer has gotten better since then........

well for stories, i did witness a fencer/tka mix , duel a dark jedi in the minning outpost.. it was quite the display of someones ability to whip a dark jedi knights ass..im still fairly new to the game..but i never thought in a 1vs1 battle , that someone could single handidly take out a jedi knight.
the fencer had some high dmg stun baton.. it looked as though he intimidated the jedi, then knocked him down..all the jedi could do was lay there on his back and heal himself..which seems kinda unfair..but then again i dont think the jedi should have been lying on his back 90% of the fight.
now for my own experience as master fencer , 3440 brawler, 0440 doc/master medic and 0001 swordsmen.. pvp is something im new to. havent quite figured it out .i think i won 1 duel against a low leveled riflemen..other than that, swordsmen mind hit you to death..tkas kd u and hammer you while your lying on your back..master riflemen run circles around you and use mind shot 3 to kill us.. geonosian dot pistols kick our ass too..atleast mine anyways.. every duel im in , it seems my weapons have 0 effect on the opponet..the only time i seem to do decent dmg to somone who isnt wearing psg/stun resistent armor. our better weapons have 0 armor peircing. i have been beaten by a cm/riflemen/doc mix who was on nothing but brandy and neutron pixies/mind buffed.. i think we have 1 weapon with light armor peircing (vibro blade or sword) its a pretty weak weapon..other than our lack of good weapons ,i enjoy pve fencer and spin attack 2 can do high damage to most surrounding mobs.. jantas/mokks get beat down pretty bad by me ..i think i can take out a janta/mokk mission in about 40 seconds with a high dmg gaffi/powerup.
bottom line, pvp not too much fun so far..pve is really fun..except in the geo caves we arent to effective ive noticed..atleast im not as a master fencer. but i am noob so..

I personally find Master Fencer to be more enjoyable and even more useful than Teras Kasi Master. The best way to get all you can out of Fencer is to pair it up with professions that max out your Ranged/Melee Defenses, and dabble to Pistoleer to top out your Dodge mod (it only takesMaster Fencer and one box in Pistoleer to cap your Dodge mod at +125). I also find it very handy to have Master Brawler, the enhanced Intimidation/Warcry/Lunge make it well worth it, andI've defeated man Riflemen and BH/Pistoleers because of it. Also, your best bet, if they aren't wearing any visible armor, is your gaffi. If you start to realize you are doing lower damage than normal, try to switch, but only when you're comfortable to do so, don't get out of your groove.
For me, a PvP match goes a bit like this:
Pre-plan: Before the fight, make sure you have your Center of Being macro looping, I can't stress enough how important this is, since as a
Fencer, our greatest strength (besides Stun Batons
) is the ability to dodge, CoB will only enhance that ability. Pop your food of choice, but one important thing is to take an Air Cake, just like CoB, it makes a big difference in combat.
1. STICK THAT INTIMIDATION: This has saved my life more than once when fighting the heavy hitters such as TKAs and Swordsmen, just DO it
:Note: Stun will not only lessen their damage too, but also lower their defenses slightly. If you have a Stun attack, by all means, stack it with Intimidate to weaken them even more.
:Note: Blind will also help, though nowhere near as much as Intimidate or Stun. Since we Fencers are hard enough to hit as it is, if the enemy's blinded they'll have to make up for it with high accuracy, and even still even some of the most accurate classes will still miss you here and there.
2. (choice a.) Hammer the mess out of the only pool we can target. As soon as your intimidate hits, stick him with HealthHit1 and 2, then spam Bodyhit3: I prefer this one over b. simply because if you can keep their health draining, they will keep needing to heal themselves, which keeps them from attacking you, especially if you have strong weapons and can wear their health down quick
(choice b.) Spam ScatterHit2 or One-HandHit3 and pray: I really don't like this one, but it works for those enemies who have a significant difference in between their Mind pool and Action/Health pools. If you whack'em a lot with ScatterHit and they are healers, they're gonna dip into that vulnerable Mind pool, lowering it even more, and if you spam Hit3 there's a chance you can land a few good hits on a pool they cannot heal, though even still, a lot of damage will be wasted on Action and Health (which if you're lucky, they'll keep healing and keep draining their Mind for you).
:Note: Either of these strategies can benefit from HealthHit1 and 2. In choice b., there's a chance that you can involuntarily keep their Health down and annoy them just as much as you are focusing on their Mind, and in the case of fighting medics, they will instinctively heal the damage, but not normally the bleeds, though if they try to, punish them for it and stick some more on them for harrassment. Remember, if you can get them to drain their own Mind pool, that can win you the fight just as much as hitting it yourself.
:Note: Feel free to change it up. If the fight lasts long enough, switch your strategy and throw him off. The more you can't make your opponent worry about, the better. With any luck you can confuse them into making a mistake.
3. Throw in the Dizzies and KDs/Posture Changes: It's worth trying to dizzy/kd any enemy, but if after a few lunges they still won't go down, stop and focus on fighting them.A lot of PvP templates rely on their opponent wasting all his time trying to KD/Dizzy, while in the mean time they hammer on them and laugh cause they can't be KDed. If you're determined to get them off their feet, then for ****'s sake, make sure they are intimidated. Nothing hurts you more than getting laid into full force attempting a failing assault.
:Note: KEEP THE INTIMIDATE AND BLEEDS ON THEM. If the enemy can't hit you as hard as possible, it will draw out the fight allowing you more time to work on him, and in affect, increase the usefulness of DOTs (damage over time's only good with that time to run through
).

Nope I mastered Fencer hit by hit, point by point and I got no badge because mastering a profession was not giving any badge cause the respec.
A fix came few days ago and gave me this lovely badge ![]()
