If fencers are only 1-handed weapon users, why can't they have two swords, one in each hand? If not that, then how about a shield of some kind (similar to what the gungans used in Episode I)? Increased damage or protection. It would certainly give more variety.

I'd like a calvary sabre. It'd be nice to use while riding on mounts...

Consider, in the 19th century when calvarywas still widely used, cuirassiers (armored sabre wielding calvary) werefar superior to dragoons (rifle toting calvary) because of their quickness and shock value. If dragoons went at any decentspeed, their accuracy would suffer.

IMO, mountsshould bea fencer's game. That's what we shouldexcel at: not suck at, as Kosler says that we should.
