Of the three melee professions I tried, Teras Kasi, Pikeman and Fencer, the only skill involved was setting up hotkeys so I wouldn't get confused when mashing buttons.

I learned how powerful Fencer was last night... I'm 1.4.3.2
I'm a Master Doc so this may be easier for me but I took a Rav Torton mission from my city... Stood next to the Lair and did Spin 2 in rapid succession...
heh... 5 minutes, 7 Rav torts, 35k xp and 10k credits
That'll shut him up.

It saddens me that someone said that to you. Fencer is a great prof. And it also angers me that there is so many peoplelike that nowadays in galaxies, that are ignorant and rude to people. Also fencer has some of the coolest looking moves.

Fencers eat TKM's anyday. When you are master fencer just do this
Don't bother trying to KD them with dizzy/lunge, it mostlikely wont work, just spam 1handhit3 and I have beaten TKMs every time. Their Kd won't stick.
I am trying to keep Fencer as much as I can while I grind holos, mainly because you can't get any better than Fencer.
(We can even beat the crap out of Jedis)

Aquitas on AHAZI is the one who spoke to me. Sadly guys, because I want to get jedi I dropped fencer today. I need to master artisan then open my 4th holo. Fencer was on my on will and once I unlock jedi I will learn it again. It was too cool.
But as it stands fencer cannot compare to master doctor on the money making side of things.

The guy who gave you **edit** is just another ass hole who follows the crowds, people who do pistoleer, carbineer, fencer, pikeman etc... were people who dont need the overpowered profs to enjoy ourselves, he just thinks he knows all and doesn't realize that his little **edit** profs that he thinks are so grand are going to be nerfed out the yin yang soon. Next time some one gives you **edit** for being a fencer, shove a stun baton straight up their ass.

Any master fencer with a 600 dmg stun baton can kill anyone in a few seconds (4-5 hits) I don't see swordsman killing people like that with their 500 damage weapons...Fencer definately is better...and everyone says fencer is bad PvE it is NOT it's evil PvE you never ever get hit so you can solo krayt np...I was master fencer for a while but i dropped it to do grinding (i'm still not jedi). Due to recent information about publish 9 and that i will never get to jedi knight before it comes out, i'm going back to master fencer baby!

Umm.....Fencer is the best pvp melee prof there is, and could be the best pvp prof period if played right (well, if you donttake doctor,watch out forcombat medics ) I am master swordsman right now, and it's the best for pve, but I've pvp'ed with it a few times and the only times i've won were against other swordsmen. Fencers eat swordsmen up, its that simple. I'm not going to spread the word on the current super stacking template (I bet most people know it anyways, but we dont need more people knowing it ). However, I can tell you that it uses master fencer as its primary and almost always its only method of attack. It dabbles in other profs and includes master brawler. With the rightstuff(doesnt have to be super expensive stuff) you are almost impossible to hit, you take 10 dmg from most attacks, and the only thing that can get you is a combat medic. 4444 jedi guardians can beat you, but you can bet the ranch that you will hand them their rear end a lot as well. Do lunge 2 to knock them down, dizzy them, and they are already screwed. Stick intimidate 2 on them, to make it worse, then spam scatter hit 2. Scatter hit 2 ignores armor, its brutal
