I wouldn't go for the blind hit first, I am a master tera kasi and the Unarmed Knockdown II works almost all the time. (Not sure against fencers with defenses). I would go straight for the posture change and dizzy then just whore them.

Well vs comp if they've got no stun layers using a decent stun baton with scatter hit2 while they're knocked down can give nice results..

I have beaten buffed comp armor people while I was unbuffed and unarmored this way.. tho stun baton drains nearly all of your own ham in the process..

Personally I'm tkm, master fencer, master brawler.. and I was fighting a tkm/master swordsman one time, both of us buffed and in full comp with stun layers.. the fight took lasted about 6-7mins lol ^^ but the whole way through I was far ahead, slowly whittling down his hams whilst mine remained stable.. mainly because I was able to easily land status effects (blind/intim/stun) and he wasn't, so his dmg output went down massively whilst mine was pretty constant (think he got 1 stun and 1 dizzy to stick the entire fight).. it's times like that that you really notice how important the def vs. xxx are

Oh and we had agreed in advance to not use knockdown just to see how it'd go without.

I always like to bleed creatures with health hit, but never really tried it in PvP. Am I correct in assuming- based on the above posts- that it's not generally used in PvP?

since the bleed nerf.. healthhit1 bleed with gaffi = 20 dmg per tick, healthhit2 bleed with gaffi 30 dmg per tick.. rather useless, especially since health is rarely the ham that you kill a well equiped enemy on

I agree mostly with the strategies above, but my first move after Cob is Warcry, then the dizzy lunge combo. If the enemy is not at least in a posture down state, I throw two body hit 2s because I find that there is a pretty good chance that they will put you on your back if the dizzy effect is on. Then I blind and intimidate. If they have armor and I dont seem to be doing enough damage, sometimes I switch to the stun baton to see if that works better. I try to move around in a circle but stay in range to try to prevent being knocked down myself.

With all the dizzy and lunge defense out there, dizzy and lunge should only be used against ranged opponents.

Start with a CoB, blind, then scatterhit2 till they are dead. (**Warning** : Scatterhit2 takes alot out of your mind so make sure you are buffed in the mind )

Mine are pretty simple... In duels or in pvp I always, always have the following. An I do allow my oppenent to use every trick they got an even buffs to even out the score.

2 brandies
2 uses of some willpower + focus 700 or higher
1 nutron pixie (rarely used)
1 dodge food
1 unatural toughness

Armor
Stun resistance helm (comp)
Stun resistance Chest bp (comp)

Weapon
Stun baton
Alk Gaffi

Since, you cannot start combat with intimidation for some odd reason. I use the follow set up..

Cob macro:
is always on, even when wearing my armor I always regenerate fast enough to were it isnt an issue, finding the balance between stat migration an armor is the key to always being in COB. Which honestly if you pvp alot is a termendous live saver.

Lunge 2, (knockdown)
Intimidate
Macro dizzy dizzy blind (area versions)
****intimidate if need be.. Most likely your target wont have gotten up yet*****
--if target gets up-
macro Lunge1 + bleed 2
**** 7 out of 10 times they will go on thier back again*
Macro onehandedhit3 onehandedhit3 scatterhit2

Usaly your target is dead with in 3-5 seconds if done right an they aren't lag glitching all over the place.

I don't really have to alter my strategy against anyone I fight use the smae thing and it basically always works for me

1) COB

2) intimidate 1

3) dizzy2

4)lunge1 They 99% fal down ont he first time I do this if not repeat till they fall down

5) use my janta knife for mind poison

6) use my gadeffi for mind disease

7) switch to my ackaly stun baton

8) use blind2

9) scatterhit2 till they die

Occasionally I have to reapply dizzy/lunge if they get up again but usually Ihave them quite dead before that happens.

My biggest problem has become kiting these days or rifleman/cm with the very nice spider poison recently was out in a large scale PvP battle had about 3650 mind HAM and I died in 45 secs froma poison/disease dots never got hit just had huge ticks really sucked
