Personally I had the most fun PVPing when I was the following template:

Master Fencer
TK4304
Pistoleer 0040
Master Brawler
Novice Medic

For a while I was Master Fencer/TKM/Pistol 0040, but I found I never used the Teras Kasi as offense, so I dropped all but the defenses. That template gives an excellent melee and ranged defense, as well as being virtually impossible to dizzy and KD. The only thing that prompted me to change was an upswing in (a) the number of fencers, it seemed like everyone I defeated became a fencer too , and (b) the number of CMs and DOT weapons.

I found that against a Master Fencer/Doctor, the states and DOTs (janta knife, etc) that I would use to give an edge were ineffective, while I couldn't cure the states and DOTs they put on me. Once a number of people figured that out, my defense stacking became much less effective and I migrated to a Doctor template.

I'm considering returning to the above template now, with the availabilty of poison resist buffs and area cures, and since there are hardly any CMs around anymore. Mind fire would be the thing that gets me, but this class is generally tougher overall so that might not be a problem.

My template at the moment is Master Fencer, Swords, Brawler, TKA 4001, Novice Pikeman, Novice Medic.

I can pve with the best of them and my pvp skills are on par if not above those of a FOTM template.

With just foods a pixie and my trusty Acklay Baton, I can beat fully buffed and armored people people wearing only hotpants. And Jedi run from me when they see me overt.

i want to be a master musician becasue i just love the musician profession...but is the master fencer/TKM any good for pvp and/or pve?

Great all around, good in pve with Swords. In PvP, hit with your best DOT Lance, then warcry2 (to get you a little time to switch weapons) and immediately switch to your baton or scythe/powerhammer and go to town. A lot of times the DOT will throw them off their game just long enough for you to get the upper hand.
